Opposition leader @teng_pple, whose @PPLEThai have supplied the votes to confirm PM Anutin in a minority govt, accuses the ruling @bhumjaithai_TH of breaking their promises re. constitutional amendments.
@SaksithCNA@teng_pple@PPLEThai@bhumjaithai_TH PP got fucked. What a surprise but we all knew this was a likely possibility building a government with the most evil man in the country.
Insanely, submitting your past 5 years' social media to enter the U.S. as a tourist is only a small part of the proposed upcoming requirements.
You'll also need to give your DNA (!) among many other new requirements.
All the additional info you'll need to give as a tourist eligible for ESTA (meaning those tourists who don't need a visa, for instance from EU, UK, Australia, Japan, and other Visa Waiver countries):
- All social media accounts from the last 5 years
- All your biometrics: face, fingerprint, DNA, and iris
- All your phone numbers from the last 5 years
- All your email addresses from the last 10 years
- IP addresses and metadata from your submitted photos
- Names of your family members (parents, spouse, siblings, children)
- All your family members' phone numbers from the last 5 years
- Your family members' dates of birth
- Your family members' places of birth
- Your family members' residencies
- All your business phone numbers from the last 5 years
- All your business email addresses from the last 10 years
If you do need a visa (i.e. non ESTA), I imagine the requirements are going to be far more drastic.
This is straight from the Department of Homeland Security documentation which you can find here: public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2025-22461.pdf
Landmine explosions in July and November, which injured Thai soldiers, also followed days after Thai anti-scam actions targeting Cambodian govt-aligned tycoons. Correlation is not causation but this pattern should raise a few eyebrows.
@osagiv As a Thai and global citizen, I do not support any state that disregards international humanitarian law. I demand an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Palestine and an end to all military occupation in the middle east. And while you're at it, get out of Thailand.
We condemn any indication of support for a terrorist organisation such as Hizballah.
It not only threatens national security, but fuels fear and division in our communities.
All of us - including every political leader - must stand together to reject terrorism and extremism.
🚨❗️🆘 More than 34,000 Palestinians have been killed in the past six months. #StopSendingArms to Israel or risk complicity in committing war crimes and genocide! #CeasefireNOW
@Opdiner It’s in the public interest to know what actually happened in the first instance - was it police aggression or incompetence? It’s exposed hypocrisy in both NZ and Thai judiciaries
A warm welcome to Governor of South Australia, HE the Hon. Frances Adamson AC who is in 🇹🇭 this week to further trade & investment opportunities b/w SA & 🇹🇭.
Did you know: 🇹🇭 is SA's 6th largest export destination?
I am deeply concerned about students facing suspension or expulsion by UniMelb for participating in peaceful protests & encampments for Palestine.
I’m also incredibly concerned about reports the Uni has been surveilling these students, potentially in breach of the law.

Of the world’s 20 largest economies, Australia is the only one not using zero-emissions nuclear energy or moving towards it.
This is an incredible opportunity that could set Australia up for decades to come.
We call for the right to fair trial and bail for activists in #Thailand. Bung had been detained without bail on royal defamation charges, and her bail requests were repeatedly denied. Her fight for freedom and justice must carry on.
⚫️ @forum_asia is devastated by the loss of Bung Thaluwang, an advocate for #democracy in #Thailand. Bung fought for political prisoners' rights and reform, enduring detention and a hunger strike. We mourn for her soul and will continue her struggle for #justice and democracy.
#Thailand: We are deeply concerned about the death of activist Netiporn ‘Bung Thaluwang’ today, who was in detention on lese majeste charges. She had been on a prolonged hunger strike. The govt must immediately release all activists charged under the law thaipbsworld.com/activist-bung-…
