@LemonTreeandSea 那你也应该知道马丁不是唯一推动黑人运动的代表，前面更为激烈的反抗想必你也是了解过的。问题是西方社会也不是没有接触过亚洲文化，日本动漫有影响力吧，这都多少年了，里面的人物就都是眯眯眼吗？亚洲各国都有在宣传各自的美，CN的古风剧，K-Pop，JP anime. 这不是没有在宣传，又是谁在用刻板印象呢

其实我发现中国人，甚至整个东亚地区的人，确实都很不擅长处理这种事情。一旦处理起来，就会陷入极端的情绪化，这样反而不利于事情的解决。似乎在他们的选项中，只有忍气吞声和拼命反抗这两种极端的做法，然而这两种做法，在人际交往中都不可取 美国黑人在历史上遇到的种族歧视，远高于亚裔，但他们表达诉求的方式也得到了全世界的尊重，理解，同情和支持。如果亚裔也能出一位马丁路德金那样的人，用世界大同的方式去说出“我有一个梦想”，我相信情况会改善很多🥹

No, the "Chinese caste system" analogy has some basis. In modern China, it manifests through restrictions on where and how people can live and work. It is a kind of internal passport system that makes living in cities more difficult for the rural, poor, and less-educated people. Chinese inequality is therefore more institutionalized than Indian inequality. Typically, on China, obtaining full urban hukou status in cities requires meeting certain criteria such as education, employment, income, or a legal address requirements. Even then, access to public services, including schooling, are more limited for people without local hukou. This is the reason why millions of Chinese migrant workers leave their children with grandparents in rural areas. India's Constitution, on the other hand, guarantees freedom of movement and residence throughout the country, which is why Indian cities are overcrowded with slums while Chinese cities appear cleaner and orderly. Imagine a system in India where people from the hinterland, the so-called dehatis, were not allowed to come freely to cities unless they could obtain a legal address and meet various administrative requirements that they can produce through an ID on demand. Slums would disappear and cities would look far less crowded and cleaner as well. That is the kind of system China has under through the hukou system. So, no matter how you look at it, the Chinese system imposes restrictions that Indian constitutional democracy does not permit ( freedom of movement). In China, if you are born as rural and agricultural, moving into the urban system has historically required meeting a number of conditions. This is a form of institutional discrimination. By contrast, the Indian Constitution permits unrestricted internal migration (think Dharavi and numerous other slums in all Indian cities and overcrowded roads, trains and buses). India also practices affirmative action by providing substantial educational and govt employment reservations for historically disadvantaged groups, rather than making it more difficult for rural people to become urban as in China. The problem is, the Chinese here do not even understand the kind of unfettered freedom of movement Indians have, which makes Indian cities dysfunctional. To them, requirements such as a legal address, a certain tax bracket, and other administrative criteria are natural prerequisites for a poor or rural person to be able to transition to urban life.
