Tonight a an old memory unlocked and I realized just how much damage was done to my generation, GenZ.

@learning_yohei Its a tip, there are set amounts as tradition, but its mostly for the service provided, can be a little, can be alot, depending on how good the service was.
Those staffers do not get much hourly so tips help them close the gap in their finances.

The reason I generally don't think highly of people is because someone once came into a store I worked at and wanted to exchange ten $1 bills for a $10 bill, which he could then use to buy a $10 scratchcard.
He didn't understand that the individual bills would pay for it.

i told my mom i was attending Catholic mass recently and she got kinda upset and basically asked me if i still believe in Jesus, amongst other things
i think many are not necessarily “unhappy” but moreso brainwashed into believing Catholicism is a cult and not also Christianity

Lost about 300 followers since announcing my conversion to Catholicism. Doubtful it’s coincidental, but it is quite fascinating. I have a feeling those 300 people are unhappy with their life.

@Merici502525 @darlingstrawbie No where did I say that, Dogmatic belief that is outside biblical truth can get in the way of faith in God. Authority comes from God through his word, not what man demands from a ceremony or such. Thats what I mean. There are some (not all) that put that in front of their faith.

@ChiefOptipops @darlingstrawbie I don't know what that means. Perhaps I'm not understanding how you're using the word dogma. You're saying they're putting truth from God in front of faith. What would that even look like? I'm so confused.

@Merici502525 @darlingstrawbie I don't know how else to explain it honestly. I believe Catholics are Christians, I may not agree that some put dogma in front of their faith, but they still believe in the same God I do.
