Colorado Courts Exposed

@ColoradoCourts

Unfortunately, this page had to be created to expose the atrocities going on in Colorado courts. It is time we hold judges accountable.

@pweiser The residents of Colorado have been begging to stop issuing PR bonds and 10% cash option bonds for felonies. People are tired of soft of crime judges and legislation. What have you done to address this problem?

I show up, listen, and fight for Colorado: “It’s very important for me to always show up for Western Colorado. This community is important to me, I’ve learned so much from this community. It’s important for me to show up. I needed to be here today.” westernslopenow.com/top-stories/ph…

I built CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities. You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible. After adding 2024,I'll add 2025 and then figure out how to get real-time-data uploaded. It's in beta — would love to know what you think 👇 Numbers don't lie, but criminals do. courtwatch.us @bennyjohnson @jockowillink @GrantCardone @LauraLoomer @nickshirleyy @j_fishback

Over 70% of child rapists get only probation in Colorado This is the what Democrat Party has done to Colorado: - Number 1 in car theft - Number 2, most dangerous state in the country - Number 4 in rape - Number 4 in property crime - Number 8, highest violent crime rate - Number 10, highest rate of human trafficking - Over 70% of child rapists get only probation. “A bill initiated by GOP rep Brandy Bradley that would mandate jail time for child rapists was killed by the Democrats 3 years in a row. It was killed under current law. You can rape up to 3 children and still get probation, making Colorado the most pedophile friendly state in the country” This is 100% true, the bills being referenced are HB25-1073 and SB26-111 Also - Colorado ranks in the top 10 nationally for homelessness across multiple categories - The state has 3rd highest rate in the nation for fentanyl overdoses - Colorado has one of the highest per capita rates of certain sex offenses

🚨 Reminder: Colorado AG Phil Weiser who is running for CO Governor once said car thieves should only face real consequences after stealing 3 or 4 cars in about 3 months. That attitude helped turn Colorado into the car theft capital of the U.S. for years. Fast forward to March 30, 2026 in Denver’s Montclair neighborhood: @AuroraPD spotted a stolen Subaru near Colfax & Peoria around 1:30 a.m. The driver fled, sparking a short pursuit that crossed into Denver. Officers called it off once the car entered city limits. Minutes later, the stolen vehicle came barreling down 11th near Oneida, lost control, and slammed at high speed into the attached garage of a family home. The impact knocked out support beams, caused a partial collapse of the structure, and sparked a raging fire with multiple explosions. @Denver_Fire had to go full response. The driver fled on foot and is still at large. @pweiser

FRED GILBERT RODRIGUEZ III was arrested for attempted murder (an F2 charge) on 3/26. MAGISTRATE ARNIE BECKMAN set his bond at $100,000, OR ONLY $10,000 CASH‼️‼️ Colorado law (CRS 16-4-104) stipulates that courts must secure the FULL amount of a monetary bond. They cannot authorize percentage cash deposits to the clerk. The statute gives defendants the choice of full cash or a licensed bail agent… unless the judge makes specific findings on the record. In Denver, courts routinely set bonds like “$15,000 OR $1,500 CASH.” Defendants post just 10% cash directly to the court (not through a licensed surety) and walk free. This system sets a FAKE high bond amount to make it look like it's protecting citizens, then lets them out for a smaller 10%. Too many low / PR bonds are granted for violent criminals. This creates a 90% discount with weak incentives to return to court, while sidestepping licensed surety accountability.

@x22Report110 @dobetterdnvr 99 percent of bonds set by this Magistrate are 10 percent cash option unsecured bonds which has never been allowed. The law allows full cash, surety or PR. Not 10 percent to the court.

@dobetterdnvr This raises concerns, but bail decisions depend on factors like risk, flight history, and court discretion. It’s important to verify claims about how the law is applied and avoid assuming the system is being misused without clear evidence

🚨 Denver Courts: Are They Breaking Their Own Bail Laws? 🚨 VINCENT FLOURNOY was arrested 3/11/26 and charged with attempted murder after deliberation (F2), assault with a deadly weapon causing SBI (F3), and aggravated robbery (F4). MAGISTRATE ARNIE BECKMAN set his bond at $100,000, or only $10k cash. Flournoy posted the $10,000 on his credit card and is now free in the community. In Denver, courts routinely set bonds like “$15,000 OR $1,500 CASH.” Defendants post just 10% cash directly to the court (not through a licensed surety) and walk free. But Colorado law (CRS 16-4-104) and the 1978 Colorado Supreme Court ruling are crystal clear: Courts must secure the FULL amount of a monetary bond. They cannot authorize percentage cash deposits to the clerk. The statute gives defendants the choice of full cash or a licensed bail agent… unless the judge makes specific findings on the record. The system sets a FAKE high bond amount to make it look like it's protecting citizens, then lets them out for a smaller 10%. Too many low / PR bonds are granted for violent criminals. This creates a 90% discount with weak incentives to return to court, while sidestepping licensed surety accountability. This raises serious questions about legality, consistency, and public safety. Why are Denver judges routinely doing what the statute and case law prohibit? Who is holding the courts accountable when they act as both judge and de-facto bondsman?
