HB26-1276 is up today at 1:30pm—and Rep. Scott Slaugh warns it could cost Colorado millions in federal jail funding while limiting cooperation with ICE. There’s still time to sign up to testify. You can also follow the hearing live here: @RepScottSlaugh rockymountainvoice.com/2026/04/13/hb2…

He loved downtown Denver—until a random shooting nearly killed him. The suspect is already out on bond. One story raising serious questions about crime, safety, and accountability. @ShainaCole_

This is great. At least those judges who release violent criminals who go on to hurt more people will be publicly shamed!

I built CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities. You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible. After adding 2024,I'll add 2025 and then figure out how to get real-time-data uploaded. It's in beta — would love to know what you think 👇 Numbers don't lie, but criminals do. courtwatch.us @bennyjohnson @jockowillink @GrantCardone @LauraLoomer @nickshirleyy @j_fishback

Murder registry is a good idea from Elon. People should know if they are close to a murderer so proper precautions can be taken.

A simple home remodel turned into a $60,000 nightmare thanks to Colorado regulations. Months of delays, surprise rules, and red tape that could hit ANY homeowner. @RobertTreta @JenSchumann1776

🚨 22-year-old Kaylen Stroter has been arrested for the homicide at 32nd and Lawrence in Denver. His criminal record escalated quickly: - November 2023 – Sterling Home Invasion Robbery: Stroter, then 20, and two others forced their way into a home in the 100 block of Hamilton Street. Armed and masked, they assaulted a victim, stole items, and fled. Charged with: aggravated robbery, first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, menacing, theft, and a weapons charge for a large capacity magazine. Nearly all charges were pled down or dismissed. He received 36 months probation for the burglary. - May 2025: Arrested for assault, child neglect, child abuse, and resisting arrest. Now he’s facing homicide charges. Why does the system keep releasing violent repeat offenders, giving them chance after chance, while Denver neighborhoods suffer the consequences? What do you think needs to change? 👇 #DenverCrime #RepeatOffenders #PublicSafety #FivePoints

This is the letter House leadership issued. It was never made public. Not included in any meaningful way. Not brought before the people. This is how they claim to “support victims.” A quiet letter. No real consequences. In any other workplace, this behavior would not be tolerated. But in the State Capitol? It gets covered up.
