@ScottChegg39308 @TrevorSheatz @TateTheTalisman It sounds like Trevor is practicing radical acceptance and embodying forgiveness. I had a college gf who cheated on me (kissed her ex). Once I forgave her, she became 100% attached to me, even after she got married. I even got invited to her wedding reception and housewarming.

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

If someone argues that a former promiscuous woman is "damaged goods" and questions whether a Christian young man should marry her, remember Rahab. She was a Canaanite prostitute but became a mother in the lineage of Jesus. God redeemed her, cleansed her, and Salmon married her.

Bernie Sanders has said: Jeff Bezos, worth $234 billion, plans to replace 600,000 Amazon workers with robots. Now, he wants to spend $100 billion to fully automate not just his warehouses, but factories in the U.S & other countries. Oligarchs are waging all out war against workers. FIGHT BACK.

@RealPostFolder 1. If you set a pattern and break it, ofc people will notice. 2. People appreciate women who are bubbly and expressive. Take advantage of it instead of handicapping yourself w "male professional" standards. 3. I as a male use "!" in emails. It's just nice. And you'll be liked.

@NotA_Bull 401k is only $25-30k a year. Don't you have other liquid assets? There are also ways to access it (e.g., Roth ladder, emergency needs, or just take the penalty if you really want the cash to build a business)

401ks are a trap for people who lack imagination. You're locking away your liquidity during your most productive years just to get a tax break on a 'maybe' in 40 years. I’d rather have the cash today to build a business. Who's with me?

$65,000/year sounds great until you do the maths. $14,300 federal tax $4,970 state tax $4,973 FICA $18,000 rent $7,200 car + insurance $6,000 food $1,800 phone + wifi $2,400 utilities Left over: $5,357/year. That's $446/month to "build your future."

NVO and LLY vol surfaces aren't pricing generic GLP-1 competition at India/China manufacturing scale. The multiple compression on these names won't be gradual. When institutional holders realize the pricing power thesis is structurally broken, the unwind happens in days, not quarters.

@unusual_whales This is like saying "Trump supporters approve of Trump." Poller asked if they were MAGA. If they identified as such, they got to be in the poll. Anyone identifying as MAGA approves of Trump. That's why they're MAGA. A better poll might be Republican voters. We'd see a lower %.

@SeizeToExist @tebohn1962 @WallStreetApes I agree there's a problem. What do you think is the issue? It's not inflation or cost of living. I already showed that it isn't when you suggested it. So what's next on the list? Should it be on the individual or someone else (e.g., employers, gov't)?

American logs into her federal student aid account so we can see her actual loans and payments - She took out a $49,548.74 loan - She’s made 120 payments, paying $25,558.36 - Her current balance is $50,121.33 So after paying $25,558.36, she now owes more than she took out “It's all such a scam”

@SeizeToExist @tebohn1962 @WallStreetApes Wages are by and large keeping up with inflation. While there are systemic inequities and inefficiencies, most people are able to live within their means. It's a choice.

@tebohn1962 @WallStreetApes How can you live within your means when the cost of living literally goes up faster than your means? The only things that have gotten cheaper in the past 25 years are the so-called luxury goods that all have planned obsolescence.

@SCHDaccumulator Level 3 is regular FIRE. It meets your expenses without having to be frugal. Fat FIRE is a level above that where you're living lavishly above your means. Think close to 8 figures. There's a level between lean FIRE and fat FIRE (which is the original FIRE that you left out)

There are 3 main levels to FIRE (financial independence retire early) Level 1/barista FIRE: Enough $ to quit your main job but still work a more relaxed supplementary job (ex. Starbucks barista) Level 2/Lean FIRE: Enough to quit all work but spend/live frugally Level 3/Fat FIRE: Enough to quit all work and essentially live/spend comfortably without running out of money My goal is to hit Level 1/lean FIRE (around 500k for me). I’d quit my 9-5 and do uber or even work at a chill retail store. Eventually my portfolio would grow to level 2 and 3 as the compound growth continues
