It is great when a woman with a very promiscuous past gets saved. If she fails to find a husband because they will not accept her past, then she has not been wronged.

@ostrachan You're not going to believe me when I say this, but women can sin and be held accountable for their actions without blame shifting to men or questioning their salvation. Hope this helps.

One big reason why some people dishonor gospel testimonies is because those people have no gospel testimony. No new birth. No miracle of conversion. No awareness of their own depravity. No humility before God. They may claim Christ's name, but they are DEAD IN THEIR SINS.

As someone who does pre-marriage counseling, I would be more inclined to tell a young man it is OK to marry a redeemed woman with a sexual past than to tell a young lady it's OK to marry a man with an anonymous X account who calls sisters in Christ whores.

Something you should know about James is that he's constantly online projecting his failures onto others. The tells are the insults; he himself is "very online" yet criticizes others that way. He's sadistically cruel yet criticizes others for mean tone. This 👇 is a confession.

@TrevorSheatz I am going to go cheat on my wife 100 times and then get saved. If she has an issue, it's because she has made an idol of marital fidelity. Imagine how great this will be for the gospel and for our testimony. Buckle up, babe, I'm going to help you overcome your idols.

Virginity should not be the #1 factor Christians look for when considering who to marry. Godliness and being attracted to them is. Virginity matters, and it's a blessing from God. It's not wrong to desire someone who is a virgin. And past sexual sin regularly carries present-day consequences. But I fear we've placed virginity on such a high pedestal that it's become an idol for many. The Bible doesn't say that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only if they're a virgin." It says that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only in the Lord (aka, only if they're a Christian)" (1 Cor. 7:39). In other words, what matters above all else is that your spouse is a believer, virgin or not. Again, while desiring to marry a virgin isn't a bad thing, it becomes a bad thing if it causes you to miss out on marrying the person who truly matters: the man or woman who's born-again, passionate about Jesus, excellent in the God-given characteristics of a godly wife or husband, and physically attractive to you. And a mature Christian should desire those things in a potential spouse above all else, regardless of the past sins the person may have gone through (though they should certainly weigh out that aspect as well in this decision, since it does matter).

@TrevorSheatz Lord, I come to you to ask for repentance. I have highly desired a wife that hasn't had 1,000 different dicks inside each of her crevices and that is truly wrong of me. Help me to be as pure in heart as the dirtiest crack wh0re who has ever existed. Amen.

When one side of the argument is sharing the gospel… And the other is mocking it or doubting the power of it… Christian, it should be pretty easy to know where you stand.

@smashbaals You are required to have a prenup. You either choose the default state prenup or an actually good one.

@Huff4Congress The problem isn't a religious one. Men are exercising healthy, biologically ingrained mate selection and feminists take issue because they are diametrically opposed to biology. Make no mistake, they ARE feminists.

Young Christian men, think of it this way. You can marry a chaste virgin who has steadfastly followed the Lord. You can marry a repentant former camgirl stripper with a triple-digit body count. Both are equally redeemed from their sin by grace. That isn’t the issue. (1/3)

My opinion of Bible church crowd is pretty low. There's one within walking distance to where I'm moving and I hate that I am judging people I don't know by my experiences with their tribe both IRL and online. Dealing with them is exhausting. All the things you have to correct. Like picking up after a toddler. So cocksure and firebreathing too, which just makes them all the more insufferable. These folks are probably fine people, but their online brigade is absolutely retarded.

@tylerhenson @BenZeisloft You're not going to believe this, but God wrote this really long book describing what he loves and hates. I've read it and highly recommend it.

@majoriansmusing Isn't this the chick who bragged about dating other men after being asked out by her husband? I'm sure she's enjoying the embarrassment ritual.

Lila will hold any belief she deems necessary at the current time in order to not hold a woman accountable for her actions. This is called Lila's law.

@megbasham You and I may not have agreed on everything for this discussion, but I do greatly appreciate that you are trying to think about this from everyone's perspective. Objectivity is a good trait.

This is a real problem. Women who do not possess the social skills to nicely turn down a guy she’s not interested in should receive backlash. Like when young women post TikToks mocking some guy just because he tried to ask her out at the gym or coffeehouse or church or the supermarket or whatever, the women should be the ones ostracized, not the guy who took a chance. (Provided it was a respectful chance).
🧢Actual Liberal🇹🇼🇭🇰🇰🇷🇺🇦🇮🇷@ActualLib

@megbasham The problem is undoing the cultural damage dating apps caused. Women have gotten so used to not being approached that now they get the ick when a guy they're not attracted to approaches them. Therefore, guys who aren't at least an 8/10 have stopped approaching women altogether.

@realfemsapien Heaven forbid that Christians share redemption stories with the world. We don’t want unbelievers to know that God redeems us from our past and then sanctifies us, making us a new creation. Youve obviously never heard or sang the song “I’m going to let it shine”.

There are actually normal Christian couples out there who used to be “in the streets” (both spouses) that jointly choose to walk a virtuous path together afterward. But they don’t do weird performative posts online about it. They just ARE the example and keep moving forward.
