💣🚫 TIC TOC Bitcoin a généré 13 millions de dollars de fees le mois dernier. La blockchain Bitcoin est très peu utilisée et ne le sera jamais, il suffit de regarder les frais générés par rapport à sa capitalisation, les chiffres sont ridicules Les frais ne seront jamais suffisants à eux seuls pour assurer la rentabilité des mineurs car il n'y a aucun intérêt à utiliser Bitcoin autrement que pour du buy and hold. Il est par ailleurs mathématiquement IMPOSSIBLE que le prix de Bitcoin double tous les 4 ans pour compenser les halvings. La blockchain Bitcoin est extrêmement lente et trop chère, les alternatives de type sidechain et lightning network sont du bullshit centralisé non performant, et toutes les autres blockchains modernes sont infiniment plus performantes, moins chères, plus utiles (smart contracts) et donc utilisées. La valeur de Bitcoin repose uniquement sur de la psychologie, à savoir sur la confiance des investisseurs en Bitcoin en tant que store of value décentralisé. Cette confiance risque fort d'être mise à mal lorsque le marché du minage se centralisera de plus en plus pour faire face à la baisse de la rentabilité car halvings + pas assez de frais. Lorsque cette confiance commencera à s'effriter, qu'on parlera sérieusement de casser la barre des 21 millions, de passer en PoS ou autre, un exode massif aura lieu, potentiellement avec panique générale. Ce phénomène ne devrait pas arriver demain, mais plutôt démarrer d'ici 10 à 20 ans, dès que le minage ne sera plus rentable en fait, ce sera graduel mais il faut s'y préparer.

which are the most token aligned DeFi projects? from the projects that i know well i would say $HYPE $DRV, $FLUID $ENA, $ETHFI are exemplary i don't care so much about revenue being used for buybacks what i care about is that there's no equity vehicle sitting alongside or above the token and a high level of transparency when it comes to operational expenses, market making agreements, deals with other entities etc.

I dislike this Across proposal so much: converting $ACX tokens to equity. Huge failure of crypto, especially if it becomes a new trend. It feels like a betrayal of the crypto spirit: investment access for everyone, anywhere, globally. US investors under 5M ACX need accredited investor status to participate in the equity exchange. ACX stops being freely tradable on DEXs. If they ever IPO, that liquidity goes to TradFi instead. It should be the reverse: tokenize equity. That would be progress for the industry. Yet the reasons for conversion are telling: - They believe the token is undervalued - They can't do effective BD as a DAO without a legal entity The founder said: "having a token generally hurts more than it helps." I hope other DAOs won't follow them. Especially Polymarket if they skip token altogether.
