Federal law enforcement SPYING on private citizens and COVERING it up. How was this allowed to happen? FBI officials secretly obtained phone records of Kash Patel and Susie Wiles while the pair were private citizens during the Biden administration. Worse, the records were categorized as “prohibited” to make them harder to find. Thankfully, those officials were FIRED by the Trump administration. Seeing people inside federal agencies run to the media EVERY TIME there’s internal conflict gets old fast. These are supposed to be serious institutions. Not places where anonymous leaks and behind-the-scenes fights become the norm. At some point, it stops looking like public service and starts looking like people trying to play politics.

The idea of intelligence briefings being doctored should alarm everyone. Those briefings are meant to give leadership the clearest possible picture of what’s happening, NOT a whatever narrative someone else wants to be true. Career officials should never undermine elected officials, ESPECIALLY when it comes to intelligence.

The Trump administration’s new Schedule Policy/Career classification makes it easier to ensure that our federal employees are working for We, the People, not Them, the Bureaucrats. This is a direct challenge to the idea that career bureaucracy should operate untouched by elected leadership. The backlash to it says a lot. Being a career federal employee is not and has never been a permanent job. Elected leadership sets the direction, not the ones trying to backseat drive. If you can’t accept that, you shouldn’t be paid by the taxpayers who elect your boss.

A federal agency that’s supposed to help Americans in a disaster is accused of picking and choosing who gets help based on politics… and when asked for records, they just go silent for over a year? If this is true, it’s not just bias it’s corruption. Americans don’t pay taxes to fund selective relief based on who you voted for. Release the records. Or people are going to assume the worst.

Two court rulings opened Pandora’s Box for more fired federal employees to challenge their dismissals in court, even those let go amid broader streamlining initiatives. We have to ask ourselves: when did unelected bureaucrats start treating their jobs like they’re GUARANTEED? Public service isn’t supposed to be a career safety net. It’s exactly what it sounds like: serving the people and performing their duties according to the voters’ electoral will.
