@IronDuk05186191 Ah, Ulster, or Ulsters as we called it in the service. The beautiful Emerald Isle. I was fresh out of Sandhurst, so young I didn't have a driving licence. I ended up having a LOT of bar fights with IRA, UVF, Royal Marine Commandos. Won every time.

I did two tours in Northern Ireland, many, many, moons ago, and I did not do those to surrender the place to the Republicans, and let me remind Irish people that Sinn Féin supports Brits out and Somalians, etc, in...

Belfast, Ireland: 1926, 1969: Loyalist riots against Catholics. 2001: Loyalist riots against Catholic children. 2021: Loyalist riots over NI Protocol. 2024: Loyalist riots over Southport stabbings. 2025/26: Loyalist riots over immigration. What could the common denominator be?

@ArniMagnusarafi All right, name 1 (ONE) armed Republican group or Republican political party active in Northern Irish politics which opposes mass migration. It must have at least one councillor or MLA.

@llluke007 @Sargon_of_Akkad 1. The families of the hunger strikers obviously don't dislike Gerry Adams. 2. Why would their opinions matter anyway? 3. Gerry Adam's statement is completely in-line with stated Sinn Fein and Provisional IRA ideology from 1969 to the present.

@Sargon_of_Akkad People need to understand that Gerry Adams was a British agent from that start, for the purpose of destroying Irish Republicanism ideologically. This is not just the opinion of some X chuddie but the opinion of all actual Republicans, just ask the families of the hunger strikers.

@DonFox2000 @32contae 'clan means one's family & close kin, so obviously when he said clan he meant...literally everybody' - 🤤 he did no such thing. he refers to the fact of the irish nation being in diaspora due to historic factors, which you take out of context ahistorically.

@rinagaelriochta @32contae 1. "Ireland for the Irish" meant self-governance, not an ethnostate. 2. Pedestrian anti-English sentiment, common today among Irish people otherwise pro-migration. 3. "These people... ought to be welcomed". Hm, I wonder what that means? 4. Says immigration not a serious issue!

@d_Arcub @32contae "Clansman" refers to a member of one's own clan, a grouping of families who were vassals to a chief family and from whom they claimed descent - though this was not the case and joining a clan was a practical decision. Connolly extended it to the Universal Brotherhood Of Man.

“Anglo-Gaullism is nothing more than the British elite doing what it’s always done: sensing the mood to adapt its tone” Political commentator Stella @Stsantek joins UnHerd to dispel the notion that ‘Anglo-Gaullism’ is the solution to Britain’s woes.

@RawWarBro The Dublin government gave the Sudanese migrant a visa to allow him to fly over from France. The British government gave him a five year stay of deportation because the immigration courts are backed up. Let's not pretend Eire had nothing to do with this.

@JAHeale Al Carns has no principles over which to resign, nor any tactical reason for doing so. So he will stay until the new leader is announced.

@hightruster That's a dishonest framing of Mike Tapp's work which has reduced illegal crossings and delivered justice against people smugglers, including two that were sent to prison only yesterday under a new law he helped pass.

Makerfield residents should note that Jessaline (who was officially a Tory only 5 days ago) was out last night proudly taking pictures with the current LABOUR IMMIGRATION MINISTER responsible for putting migrants in hotels up and down the country and she wants YOU🫵🏼 to vote Reform Yookay.
