Oh well it must be true then if someone posted it. It’s such childish nonsense. And very dishonest in my opinion. None of them became Catholic because of Dr. White. And if they did, what a poor foundation they are on! They didn’t become Catholic because of the strength of the Catholic position, but because of the weakness of Dr. White! Come on, who really believes that? I don’t think anyone believes that—they just intend it as a personal attack in order to discredit him.

I read an utterly amazing "prayer" on the DL recently, the "Litany of Loreto." Often Christians think that such prayers, which barely acknowledge Father, Son, and Spirit, but are focused upon Mary instead, are "fringe" or "extreme." My argument is your debates did not impress me when I was a Protestant and would have loved a reason to stay one. You assert with no evidence your wishful thinking, that I didn’t “really” find your arguments false (how could anyone find your arguments false!?) and I couldn’t have possibly have been looking for truth and reading scripture. No, it’s that I’m emotional. In essence you are doing exactly what you do in your debates. Making false assertions without evidence you wish were true, but they are only your stubborn refusals to acknowledge the truth, that my decision was based on finding truth and Catholicism is true. You want to know why you lead people to the Catholic Church? This is it friend.

I've done about fifty debates against their leading apologists back to 1990, and we have gone pretty in-depth on the Papacy, Mass, priesthoods, scriptural authority, over the years. Our website now has a page that allows you to search like 3,000 Dividing Line episodes by key word. Sorta depends on what specific topic you are looking at.

Quite the flood of Talarico videos hitting social media. Not hard to document a PCUSA seminary graduate's apostate preaching and teaching. But folks...he's not out of the ordinary. This is the stuff that is taught in every classroom in seminaries all across the Western world. This is why the rainbow stoled priestesses inhabit the pulpits of once orthodox churches preaching the idiocy they do. They have never read a conservative, sound, orthodox book in their lives. Don't even know they exist. Would LOVE to see this guy debate @RobertAJGagnon1 (since they are both in Texas). I would debate him in a heartbeat, but that won't happen, and we all know why!

I do not want to waste a lot of time on childish behavior, to be honest. I mean, we were able to get into good, deep exegetical material yesterday (something the BUs haven't bothered with as yet--they are literally still banging the "20,000 singular pronoun" canard), so that's positive, but stuff like this? Who has time to be doing this kind of thing? Maybe this is the future of "debate"? No respect for the process, the topic, the audience, all about clicks, imaging, memes, emotions? Teenager stuff? I suppose it is possible if the culture continues to collapse in its rebellion. In any case, I refuse to dishonor the process, let alone the importance of the topics, with such behavior. I am thinking maybe the best thing I can do is to incorporate a full demonstration, over time, of the reality of the fact that Smith's Gish-Gallup, scatter-gun approach can never bring us to a conclusion by refuting every single point he made in his slides. It would not be difficult to do and, honestly, would take very little preparation time (they are surface level objections since he refuses to engage the actual doctrine---in fact, the straw-man to which he is committed *precludes* in-depth interaction). And, like yesterday, that would allow us to ground Christians in Scriptural truth, and demonstrate consistency in hermeneutics and exegesis. I will think about how that might work. In any case, let's hope my future opponents will show more respect for the debate process than the BUs have!

It appears that lots of people are now doing a shot of olive oil with lemon juice when they first wake up (ie on an empty stomach). Has anyone started doing this? Have you noticed any changes or improvements in your health or appearance? With a quick google search it seems the benefits are quite meaningful: • anti inflammatory • improve digestion • improve nutrient absorption • increase antioxidants • improve heart health • improve skin health • stabilize blood sugars • lower bad cholesterol If you are doing this, any recommendations on an olive oil brand? Because this is not something I want to risk buying off Amazon. I assume cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil is the minimum standard but I don’t know much past that.
