I grew up in the Midwest for over 20 years and I can honestly say I've never seen a scene quite like this in Michigan City, Indiana. I've seen foliage at higher elevation but never have I seen peak foliage which such a high impacting Lake Effect snow event. Truly otherworldly. #INwx

Ran up to Davis, WV this morning - and unfortunately the fall color situation is quite bad. Severe drought here has effectively ended the color. Probably the worst year I’ve ever seen in this region.
