For me, 401jK is about standing up for the small people when we get stamped on by the big players, and thereโs often not much we can do about it.
Iโve seen how brutal it can be to keep working even when youโre past retirement age. The company you gave your time to goes bust, and just like that, your retirement is gone. Meanwhile, the top keeps gaining while the bottom gets stuck in a maze where the exit feels further away every year.
I didnโt join 401jK to fight anyone. I joined because the community felt real. Supportive. Positive. A place where people show up, appreciate each other, and actually care. Honestly, it feels like I hit the jackpot.
Iโm in for the long run because it resonates with the world weโre living in right now. A lot of whatโs going on is so absurd you almost have to laugh. The transparency, the decentralization, and the constant push to think differently really matter to me. I see it as an optional way to save toward something I genuinely believe in.
Why not put a bit aside each month for something that actually means something? Like a normal retirement fund, but with less hassle.
Retirement is a joke. Break the system, resist and retire.
