🚨My First Critical Disengagement with FSD 14.2.2.5 After 4,200 Miles…😱 This morning on dark back roads, FSD completely missed a big object lying right in my lane. I had to take over fast at 50 mph. After driving 99% of my 4,200 miles on FSD with zero issues, this was a wake-up call. Even when FSD feels really good, it’s still supervised for a reason. Tricking the system with printed photos or gadgets is not the move. (See post below) You should always stay alert. One moment is all it takes for something to go wrong. What do you think? “This is the brutal, unpredictable real-world testing I put FSD through every single day — not easy city streets or straight highway cruises. Real back roads. Real danger. Nobody tests it harder than me!” #Tesla #RealWorldTesting

‼️FSD Cabin Camera Hack That’s Going Viral 👀 This little gadget holds a photo right in front of the mirror so the car thinks you’re still paying attention — even when you’re not. Would YOU use it? Or is it playing with fire? I already use FSD about 99% of the time in my Tesla… so if it ever feels truly unsupervised-ready, who knows — maybe I’d actually try something like this. ‼️Elon Musk, I 100% love ❤️ the new FSD on HW4 and my new model Y performance —compared to my HW3 FSD on my M3LR— but I have to ask you, do you encourage and support this kind of behavior from this influencer @wholemars that you follow -who promotes Tesla? Saying “if one is to drink and drive a use FSD in an unsupervised way while under the influence” —rather than an ordering an uber, Lyft or cybercab/Robotaxi at this point and time! I love Tesla and I will always support the product and its growth — this kind of behavior is despicable for somebody that has 800,000 followers to promote FSD this way! 😔

Omar, stop telling people to use FSD when they're drunk. You will get people killed. You and the other shills will then attack their loved ones when they try to sue Tesla for misrepresenting its defective "Full Self-Driving" software. If you're drunk get an Uber or a Waymo.
Whole Mars Catalog@wholemars

People love to blame the car when they were just drunk driving the car themselves Next time actually turn self-driving on… you will make it home safe

JUST IN AND UNUSUAL Iran releases a video showing the moment its forces targeted an advanced U.S. F‑35 fighter jet. In reality, Washington now has no fighter jet that is immune to being targeted.

Looks like we need to have a check list every time we set out to go on an FSD drive. @FixorFkit can you provide us with an aviation template?

@illegalimigrent @wholemars @DirtyTesLa @SawyerMerritt @RealDanODowd @aelluswamy @AIDRIVR @edgecase411 Similar thing happened to me where fsd was driving with no visibility warnings and going 70mph on the hwy, slammed on the brakes when it saw someone nearby on the side of the road. x.com/i/status/19957…

🛫 Throwback Thursday - Aviation History March 31, 1931 — The day a football legend died… and this one crash changed commercial aviation forever. Knute Rockne — Notre Dame’s immortal coach, the man who turned underdogs into champions — was killed when TWA Flight 599’s Fokker F-10A trimotor crashed near Bazaar, Kansas. A wooden wing snapped off mid-flight due to moisture-weakened glue. All 8 aboard perished. His fame turned one tragedy into a national wake-up call that finally forced real change. Here’s how Rockne’s crash forever changed commercial aviation 👇🏻 • Immediate Grounding — Every Fokker F-10 in America was pulled from service the next day • End of Wooden Wings — The crash killed the era of fragile wood-and-glue construction overnight • Birth of All-Metal Airliners — Airlines rushed to the Boeing 247 and Douglas DC-3, planes with stressed-skin metal that could fly on one engine and shrug off weather • Transparency Revolution — The government stopped hiding crash reports and passed the 1934 Air Commerce Act amendments • Road to the FAA — This single event sparked the chain that led to the Civil Aeronautics Authority (1938) and eventually the modern FAA It’s heartbreaking that it took a celebrity’s death to make safety matter. Ordinary crashes before this barely moved the needle. One famous name finally did. Attached: rare 1931 crash-site photos, the doomed Fokker, and front-page headlines that shocked America 94 years ago today. Rest in peace, Coach. Your last flight made every flight after it safer. ❤️ #KnuteRockne #AviationHistory #ThrowbackThursday

@FixorFkit It is crazy how easy it has become both for 3D printing and sourcing materials. I remember when I started 3D printing 15 years and you had to build a lot of things by hand and you bought parts from HD and Lowes to build your machines.

I had to switch to expertly from Heavy from 4.20 but both are now stalling constantly. This was 3x attempts. Had to restart app. Now I’m having to constantly copy and paste when this happens because it deletes my initial request and I have to type a long convo all over again. Otherwise, I love it when it works. (I blurred out my content in photo)

I will get a ton of blowback for what I am about to say, but here goes. I have let people use FSD on all of my Teslas since I first got it. Over all the years I have seen the same issue over and over again. When they are unfamiliar, they did not notice when it disengaged. The sound of disengagement is not very loud and can easily be missed, when inexperienced. I am not saying that Tesla was at fault, but it would be nice to have a default setting and clear voice and visual announcement, that FSD has been disengaged. Have said so in my live streams as well. Then there could be an advanced setting where you turn that "off" to basically what it is right now. It can be missed for beginners, as some touch the wheel or tap the brakes, not knowing that they actually disengaged. Again, I said what I said, but if you disagree, I ask you to let some none Tesla drivers drive your car.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

UPDATE: Elon Musk says the driver of this Cybertruck disengaged Autopilot four seconds before crashing, which means the driver was manually driving during this entire clip that Fox shared. Elon: "As anyone knows who uses it, that video is not how Autopilot drives."

Watch @Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5 fail to avoid an object in the road, forcing the driver to swerve at the last second to avoid running it over. @ElonMusk your defective software endangers all road users and should be banned now.

@FixorFkit Honestly, I don't get why I needed to dodge that. It was so low it wouldn't have even touched the car, and there was no way the wheels would've hit it anyway

@FixorFkit Was it "critical", though? Seemed like a piece of cloth or smthing rather shallow, that would probably pass under the car without much of a problem even if a tire went over it. Still, the intervention was warranted. Good call. Hope @Tesla_AI gets to add it for training
