@KeruboSk You get into bed fresh and don’t have to worry about showering then drying your hair in the morning whilst trying to wrangle 3 kids for school.

Apparently there are people who shower at night instead of the morning. I genuinely want to understand this. Night shower people… explain yourselves

@sainsburys your app is not working. I tried reinstalling, deleting cookies, then using my iPad. By the looks of the complaints on here tonight there is something wrong with the app and not our devices. May wanna get IT on it!

@MartinSLewis All our money is in a joint account. We chat about bills to be paid on payday. Then throughout the month we discuss any other big purchases. Little purchases we don’t really discuss unless we are close to hitting our budget.

TELL US: Couples, how do you manage money between you? Do you have kitchen table finance meetings – how often? Do you have joint or separate accounts and why? Please reply here, like your faves, and pod producer Simon will collate some to read out.

@GrantSlatton I had Count Duckula on repeat. I could probably recount half the episodes word for word 25 years later.

i know so many parents whose kids watch Frozen or some other movie literally every day, for months at a time feels like this was not a thing among kids in the 90s obviously pressing 'play' is so easy, but rewinding a VCR isn't hard either what explains?

@Matt_Pinner Yes. Their dog kept getting out so when someone knocked on my door asking if it was mine I called the dog warden who collected it. Poor dog was smothered in fleas and suffering from a nasty skin infection. They know I was the one who reported it too.

Please be honest, I’m trying to prove a point! Would you report your neighbor if you knew they were mistreating their dog? 🐶 🐕

@Chrisle00277910 I have ADHD I can tell you - there’s a lot of support that you need especially when it comes to accessing employment and education etc But you don’t need a brand new BMW because you have ADHD

Why should I have to pay for some migrant to get a free house when I can’t afford to move out Why should I have to pay for primarily Pakistani or Bangladeshi families to have 6 kids and not work, when I can’t afford one Why should I have to pay for someone with ADHD to get a free BMW they don’t need, when I can’t afford a car Why is it right that for the majority of young people, we have to go to work - to pay for others who don’t work, to live a better life than what we can afford The system is broken We need to bring back fairness.

@JohnGjh @commontruth_ @MichelleDewbs What he’s saying is the children have to be at school earlier instead of at home having breakfast, so parents are actually paying for childcare to allow them to work. The government wants everyone working, so offering breakfast clubs means both parents can go to work.

I don’t get this concept of us parents being ‘out of pocket’ by giving our own children breakfast. Isn’t feeding our own kids a basic premise of parenting responsibility, why would any parent regard themselves ‘out of pocket’ for doing so🤔
UK Prime Minister@10DowningStreet

Parents shouldn’t be out of pocket by setting their children up for school. That’s why we are rolling out free breakfast clubs and from next September, schools will be required to limit branded items of uniform. Saving families £500 and giving kids the best start in life.

Strange, I know, but I find myself completely untroubled by the fact that total strangers don't understand why I think women's rights are worth defending.

@tanylake Married woman here who is at extremely high risk of uterine rupture if I have another baby. So yes, I’ll be using birth control. I’ve also never had normal periods so tracking would be near on impossible.

I showed this to my 21 and 23-year-old sons, and they said no one they know this age texts like this. They said, "Mom, this is how you text". Do you know any 22-year-olds who text other kids like this? They don't use complete sentences with correct punctuation.

@claire88424030 Let’s use that logic then. Muggle born means you were born with magic regardless of your heritage. Being born a man means you were born a man.

@darrengrimes My biggest issue is they made Harry white so that means James is going to be a white boy bullying a black boy. Also, Harry immediately doesn’t trust Snape just through appearance 🤦🏼‍♀️

For too long, Britain has been addicted to cheap overseas labour — while 1 in 8 of our own young people aren’t in education, employment or training. I'm putting our young people first, investing in skills they need and ending our dependence on foreign labour.

@GayTory @Jenny_1884 I worked as an agency worker and it sure wasn’t going into ensuring high quality food, care and entertainment for residents. I even had to train some of the staff in these homes on manual handling!

What I don’t understand is that Care Home charges are astronomical & care workers only get paid minimum wage. Where is all the money going?
