@Follow_Follow_ He was rock solid as a full back. However Sandy Jardine was better, equally as good a defender and a great attacking player. Like Tavernier without his faults.

I recall an FF thread from some time ago when an old-timer offered the opinion that he was the second best full-back he’d ever seen at the club. High praise. Stevens was pure class.

@Follow_Follow_ In the days of a full back being a defender first and an attacker second he was exceptional. Not the best going forward. Very occasional goal. Remember the front page of the Rangers News when we signed him. Him and Souness at the airport - ‘I’ve signed the best RB in Britain’.

Been watching some (non-English language) seasons of The Traitors. Some very different approaches, rules, etc & much in the way of exceptional television but amid all that there’s a year 🇫🇷 where the players forget how to count up the number of traitors who must be left 😄

SNL UK was…pretty good. Obviously some sketches were much better than others - and pretty clear that a couple of cast members are going to have to carry a lot of it - but not a bad first effort.

Probably quite an interesting weekend for the human entrusted with the keystrokes enabling the ‘SPFL supercomputer’ to work out the order of the post-split games.

This guy was a disgrace, slowing the game down at every opportunity, failing to play advantage and then chopping a goal off for something that wasn't in the same phase of play.
