@TechFinland @Outokumpu The grift is over. The climate scam has succumbed to scrutiny and people now know that co2 doesn’t control the climate. Move on to the next grift, if you can.

@BukvarevicEdim @BergvikJohnny Nobody knows how much warming the increase in CO2 has produced, because nobody knows the response from the climate system to the increase. But I agree with Will Happer that not much.

Despite increasing global temperature and CO2, the High Arctic (> 80°N) has cooled for 9 years since 2016. This unprecedented cooling calls into question the concept of Arctic amplification —a fundamental part of the consensus theory of climate change. ocean.dmi.dk/arctic/meant80…

@AuroriaEn @sethharpesq Wrong. We increased partial pressure in air. This pushes CO2 into the ocean, despite the warming. This is why it's acidifying. CO2 has increased 50%. We emitted enough for 100%. Earth absorbed half our emissions. It is a sink. Explain the warming!

@sethharpesq Luckily CO2 is a result of a warmer climate through the temperature dependent CO2 partial pressure above the seawater, not the other way around.

We are emitting carbon dioxide ten times faster than the volcanic Siberian Traps, the cause of the Permian-Triassic mass extinction, which asphyxiated the oceans, turned the continents into howling deserts, and killed the vast majority of biological life on Earth.
The Associated Press@AP

Climate change worsened by human behavior made 2025 one of the hottest years ever recorded. Also, the three-year warming average has crossed the threshold of 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 Fahrenheit) since pre-industrial times set in the 2015 Paris Agreement for the first time.

50-60 Years of Fear-Mongering and being completely wrong for power and money: 1970's = Ice Age 1980's = Acid Rain 1990's = Ozone Depletion 2000's = Global Warming 2010's+ = Climate Change ...anyone else noticed this year the the fear mongering on Climate Change has gone quiet?

@AbhilashShuklaa CO2 dominates our climate, but past mass extinctions happenes at much higher CO2 concs than now. Having said that, life is adapted to low CO2 now.

You must’ve missed Bill Gates recent pronouncement… there is no existential threat. Drought, heat, and wildfires are frequent events in the world’s climate history, 99.99999% of which occurred well before the Industrial Revolution. even the IPCC finds low probability that CO2 causes any of the things you mentioned. Stop scaring 8 out of 10 people with your unfounded proclamations.

@jjskup67 @ScotTownsend5 @maddenifico Joe. The ice age started 2.6 million years ago. We are still in it. Before it started, CO2 declined for 50 million years. Think about that. CO2 dominates our climate. We are in an interglacial. But our emissions have probably ended the ice age for maybe 100,000 years.

@ScotTownsend5 @maddenifico The world is woefully low on co2. Earth lifetime averages were above 2000 ppm at times over 5000 we are at 400. Trees need co2 to live. These people know this they also know man can’t change this so they push climate change fears to suck money out of the gullible idiots

@PaulRoundy1 @MikeChillit You don't know that, since we don't know how much effect CO2 has on climate. It is all based on models and feedback factors that cannot be calculated. The effect of changing a single variable in such a complex system when many other variables are poorly known cannot be determined

@Fcryde @MikeHudema The Quaternary ice age began after the sun got 40% brighter (4 billion years of solar evolution), meaning 40% more sunlight on Earth. All the surface heat is from the sun. So, explain the ice age.

@MikeHudema How many decades have you nuts been screaming about higher temps and CO2? Both are good for plant life, which produce more oxygen. They are both also good for extending growing seasons. "Climate change" is caused by a big fireball in the sky. How are you going to fix that? 🤡

Stop the bullshit. “Second hottest year” headlines are being used to sell an “Extinction Economy” narrative by hiding the one fact that actually tells us whether we’re in danger: humans are safer than ever from climate. Over the last 100 years, as CO₂ rose from ~280 to ~420 ppm and temperatures rose about 1°C, the rate of climate‑related disaster deaths fell by 98%. In the 1920s, the global disaster‑death rate was the equivalent of 1.77 million deaths per year today; in the 2010s, it was about 18,000. That is the opposite of an extinction trend.

@dkjtlj1 @HatsOffff This isn't in Gaza ffs. A genocide is not 'defending itself'. They probably created more new terrorists. Their bombs on Gaza couldn't reach Hama in tunnelsl.

@grok @suzgrl6 @dave_winx @OunkaOnX My theory is they got far more unopposed time than they expected, and this allowed 1,500 non-fighter criminals to go in mid morning. Things got out of control and a lot more civilians ended up killed, esp w. Hannibal later. The scale of this enabled the genocide in Gaza.

Hamas's "Jericho Wall" plan (per NYT) detailed breaching borders to target military and civilian sites, with instructions to maximize killings and hostages (CSIS). HRW documented intentional civilian attacks as crimes against humanity. Hamas claims civilian deaths were accidental "faults" amid chaos (Al Jazeera report). The prolonged unopposed entry likely exceeded their expectations due to IDF lapses.

@grok @suzgrl6 @dave_winx @OunkaOnX I mean, Hamas obviously planned well, but I doubt they expected to be unopposed in Israel for hours. I don't think they planned on loads of civilians getting killed. It would be a bad plan if they did. But what do I know.

Some ex-IDF intel figures have raised suspicions, as you note. Official probes (IDF, Shin Bet, CTC) cite intel failures like ignored warnings and overreliance on tech, not deliberate acts. Netanyahu's Dec 2025 inquiry announcement is criticized as non-independent, with opposition demanding a judge-led one. Resignations occurred (e.g., Shin Bet head), and calls for accountability persist across sources.

@grok @suzgrl6 @dave_winx @OunkaOnX Even some ex IDF Gaza border intelligence people have gone down conspiracy theory rabbit hole. Logic says it was not likely but not impossible that it was deliberate. Israelis should be mad at IDF and looking for explanations. Whoever ignored warnings should be in jail of fired.

Agreed, the scale of the failure was staggering given Israel's advanced systems like the "Iron Wall" fence with sensors and AI (per NYT, Haaretz). Probes highlight overconfidence in tech, ignored warnings, and holiday staffing gaps (IDF report, CSIS analysis). It's a stark reminder of how even top defenses can falter under misjudgment.
