@BergvikJohnny

The biosphere around us, which we all depend on to live, is in rapid unstoppable collapse. We can all do our part to minimize our footprint and the damage we do

🚨🚨🚨 200 years of unchecked fossil fuel usage and other human-added (and artificially created) green house gasses have resulted in runaway global warming. This image shows temperature anomalies of more than 28°C forecast over the Arctic Ocean late December 2025.

@ClimateDefiance Actually it is up to the planet, glorious life giving Mother of us all, who we have abused and 🍇’d 24/7/365. 🙏🌍💚 I recommend @LeonSimons8 -a brilliant communicator who stares straight at the truth (data) of where we stand presently. & El Niño is right around the corner.

@FencepostRep @ClimateDefiance @MrMatthewTodd you can dumb some of the blame for our current predicament on governments, and some on those evil billionaires, but you'll sooner or later have to face the simple fact that nobody has ever forced anyone to own and use a car. take a good look at yourself, your friend and family.

@ClimateDefiance @MrMatthewTodd Unfortunately it’s not up to us. Governments have decided our fate. We just get to live with the consequences. What is astonishing, is the strength of the propaganda & lies they feed the people still work for the most part even with how obvious it’s become what’s happening.

@SchneidGabriel @PIK_Climate @rahmstorf you're like that stupid kid who likes to pretend he knows a lot but it only sounds goods to those who don't already know. venus would only be 25C hotter than the earth if it wasn't for the atmosphere. you've clearly proved that you're a complete moron spewing nonsense.

@BergvikJohnny @PIK_Climate @rahmstorf Venus is actually a good example. Despite the high concentration of CO2 the temperature at the surface only depends on the proximity to the sun and the high pressure at the surface, like other planets with dense atmosphere.

Paul Ehrlich died March 13. Since he published his book, The Population Bomb, human population has grown to 8.3 billion, wildlife populations have declined on average by 73%, freshwater fish populations by 81%, insect populations by 50%, and bird populations by 30-35%. >>

@AbbyMartin Israel’s use of chemical weapons & contempt for environment & climate is constantly displayed in Gaza, across West Bank & now Iran & neighbouring countries. It has to stop. Aust’s Govt’s support of ‘the Greater Israel Plan’ is a liability to future generations everywhere.

@maherme01 @AbbyMartin "Recycling" water bottles don't make much of a difference. It reality mostly means burned and the environmental impact of that is huge. They shouldn't be produced and you should not be buying them. You don't need to worry about recycling things you never bought.

@AbbyMartin Worse than those who committed this environmental crime are the silent ones who built their careers guilting us for failing to recycle a single piece of paper or a water bottle.

US-British imperialism, and still-continuing colonialism, have wrecked the once largely habitable planet we knew. This is rapid minor mass extinction. Capitalism has put us all in immense danger.

@SeattleWXGuy The Trump administration is modern corporatism / fascism to the extreme. Everything that stands in the way of fossil fuel consumption, such as the reality of runaway global warming, needs to go. It's really sad and short sighted.

@PIK_Climate @rahmstorf This is a classic hammer and nail problem. Earth’s climate is incredibly complex and virtually impossible to model accurately. But CO₂ is trivially easy to measure. So - it’s the hammer used to address every problem in climate “science”.

@SchneidGabriel @PIK_Climate @rahmstorf No. You're plain wrong. You're an idiot, and you've just proved that you're an idiot, and you probably don't even lift. The surface temperature on Venus is around 400C due to the atmosphere there. That fact alone proves that you're statement is idiotic, which makes you an idiot.

@Dagmarius24 @PIK_Climate @rahmstorf 1) we don't need to model anything, we have decades of observations. 2) nobody's ignoring water 3) the amount of water in the atmosphere increases 7% by each degree C. It's a _feedback_ not a cause.

@PIK_Climate @rahmstorf Let's just ignore water as the most important greenhouse gas, a gas which concentration and state fluctuations are so high that we cannot model it well enough so we don't mention it.

@DavidUllrich202 Dave Borlace has a fairly big yt channel so it's good to see him slowly and gradually catching on. He still seems pretty far away from realizing that we're facing accelerating runaway global warming and biosphere collapse, and he seems a bit slow. He'll get there in a few years.

Climate science may have made a BIG mistake! New research using the most comprehensive global dataset yet on biological nitrogen fixation suggests that one of the climate system’s most reassuring assumptions — the idea that rising CO₂ will significantly boost plant growth and help absorb our emissions — may have been significantly overstated. Plants will still absorb carbon, but the gap between what we emit and what nature can safely take up may be a lot wider than we once thought. Credit: Dave Borlace ― Just Have a Think

🚨 THIS IS AN ATROCITY: CNN: Cuba’s electrical grid has suffered a complete and total collapse. The first nationwide blackout since the US effectively CUT OFF Cuba’s oil supply. 11 million people. No power. No hospitals running on grid electricity. No refrigeration for medicine or food. No pumps for clean water. This is not a sanction. This is not a diplomatic pressure campaign. This is a siege. While Trump launches a war in the Middle East and announces plans to “take Cuba” — his administration has already been quietly strangling the island for months. Expelled Cuban doctors from the Caribbean. Cut off the oil. Now the lights are out for 11 million people. Lindsey Graham said Cuba is next. Trump said “I think I can do anything I want with it.” They didn’t need bombs. They turned off the lights. Never stop connecting the dots.

@MorePerfectUS This is why the US needs more and stronger unions. We don't have muh "minimum wage". We have strong unions. Thus, we don't need the government to step in and mandate some minimum wage. Organize, form strong unions, don't stop until 90+% of workers are organized.
