I love how this game is basically exactly how I imagined it. Everything is scaled back to the most basic degree. So every single little action feels like it has weight. Like the first bandit fight I did felt actually scary because Henry is such a noob at life. It feels so real.

@BonafideXP Yeah the double jump has a weird timing. However you dont need it once you unlock the force punch in the air that pushes you up 3 times.

Crimson Desert: Flight versus Double Jump
With 120 hours in so far, I still haven't been able to nail down wanting to definitively choose double jump versus gliding. Both functions require tapping the jump button twice...and I think this would be a much better option...
Double Jump: Tap+Tap
Glide: Tap+Long press

@ArturSmiarowski You should look into the Project 1999 Everquest servers. There time locked to the 3rd expansion. Course the graphics might be off putting but its a challenge if that is what your looking for.

I wanted to play an MMO with my son, and since we're into Star Wars TCG, we picked SW: TOR.
It reminded me how gameplay optimization killed an entire genre.
The social aspect is an obstacle when all content is efficiently soloable.
Streamlined gameplay is not always desired.
