@DrFawcett1925 When the thief on the cross was saved, Jesus didn't heal his wounds, whisk him down from the cross and set him free. He still died, he just went to heaven afterwards. People seem to forget this in regards to the "easy women -> Christian" debate.

@Dykes4Congress @IanCarrollShow I just want someone who will vote for America First principles, not someone that spends all their time fighting the Jews. Best way to handle them is to donate to Christian ministries in Israel and turn the Holy Land holy again, not grandstand against Trump in pyrrhic victories.

If you’re within driving distance of Kentucky go help save Thomas Massie. Tiffany’s beaten the billionaires before and she’s about to do it again.

What if I told you a group of creators could out-influence a multi million-dollar political ad blitz by AiPac their Billionaires?! I’m about to prove that we can do exactly that in 4th District Kentucky as we fight for @MassieforKY I’m calling on every creator who is sick of watching money control everything to Meet me in Kentucky 5/14-5/20. @ChristianHeiens These things are so easy to swing right wingers should start organizing around them. There aren't that many, all it takes is one autist to build a spreadsheet and we could have exclusively good candidates on our side to choose from in the main elections.

As some of you who have known me for a while here know, I’m an atheist. However, I’ve also said that I wish I could believe. I was christened as a child and used to believe. As I’ve got older, I’ve become adamant that there’s no such thing as God. But over the last few years, I’ve been softening and trying to believe again. I’ve asked for so-called enlightenment, but nothing has happened. I read the Bible when I was a child but not since, so I’ve decided to start reading it again. It’s now my nightly ritual before bed. Please send prayers 🙏🏻 let’s hope some enlightenment or something meaningful happens. If God or Jesus don’t come to me after that, I’ll have to carry on being an atheist/realist.

I don't see a single downside to having a democrat governor with a GOP legislature that get nothing done. it actually seems to be the highest IQ option available here. i feel like many people are failing the prisoner dilemma we have going on here.

@OLarper59646 @GreenTextRepost That IQ is still pretty low dude. But let's offer an olive branch and say it isn't. Then the issue moves from "IQ too low to consider religious and cultural values" to "no relevant religious and cultural values to consider in the first place." The 2nd is a MUCH bigger problem.

I'm an author, so I'll give the author's perspective on this. The publishing industry is not interested in producing anything that appeals to either young women, or to men. The Western publishing industry is instead focused on self help (tm) books, pornography and ideological affirmation texts. In a vacuum these genres aren't themselves bad, but when they encompass the entire literary world, when they're literally the only thing you find in book stores, you start looking elsewhere. For my part, I write what can be described as "dark fantasy", but I consider to just be traditional fantasy with regards to its themes and maturity. Worlds that are in turmoil and filled with suffering, but have light at the end of the tunnel if only the heroes can push through and prevail. Nobody is perfect, but everyone is trying their best, despite their flaws. But, I'm a man, and I prefer to write male protagonists as a result and worse yet- I'm a white man. Non-diverse! So getting my fantasy literature, centred on male characters saving the day, getting an agent to just look at my work is impossible. They tell us outright, "we're looking for diverse voices" - meaning they want non-white, non-male writers. Well, OK, surely then there's some young-adult, male-oriented literature being produced then, right? Produced yes, published no. See the agents are the first filter, blocking new writers from entering the scene altogether if they're the wrong demographic, the wrong "voice". Then the publishers decide what gets picked up. Your agent can shill your book about a band of plucky adventurers but then the editors need to decide whether it'll appeal to their target audience and right now that's just adult women between 25-60. The "50 Shades of Grey" demographic. Why's this you ask? Well it's because they stopped trying to appeal to men altogether in the 2010's when the "self help" genre took off, and a half-decade later their sales figures show marginal male audiences. Thus, the assumption is that men just don't read. I can explain why this is false, but I can also explain a bit of why it's true. I'm a prolific reader, but I'm also a gamer and books do have to compete against video games for male readers. That's why, the fiction that men do read, tends to either be really good, or specifically tailoured for their demographic and interests. So then, what are the three genres that get pushed actually comprised of? Well, of them, self-help is the "male"-oriented one, largely consumed by young men trying to figure out why life isn't working for them. Most of these books are, quite frankly, bad for you to read and consume and generally boil down to a bunch of vague rules you have to follow and a grindset mindset that'll ruin your enjoyment of life. The least offensive are the "manosphere" type ones but even then, they poison the way you think about and handle relationships. The "pornography" are books like the aforementioned Fifty Shades of Gray. You might also recognize them as "romantasy". For a general cross-cultural analogue, think of all those borderline pornographic shoujo game isekai novels/manga and take them like ten steps further. Full-on sex scenes, explicit dialogue and some actually, genuinely extreme content that shouldn't be on the shelves of Chapters or Indigo. The primogenitor of this genre, though not a "romantasy" book in and of itself, is "Bear". It's about a woman. And a bear. You know what they do together. And this is a very, very popular- if not the most popular- genre for publishers to exploit. Millions of women with actual honest-to-God porn addictions, girls in middle school (that fujoshi sub-plot in Prisma Illya hit close to home ngl) just utterly addicted to reading about hardcore werewolf sex. And these stories and writers are, largely, coming from a site called AO3, a fanfiction site where people order and tag their work down to granular fetish levels; and a lot of it is genuinely, utterly and irredeemably repulsive. Cool that people like it, whatever, but again it should not be on the shelves of major book stores and CERTAINLY not for sale in drug stores or supermarkets where an unsuspecting child might pick it up. The final genre, the ideological affirmation texts, is more varied and is more of an umbrella-category. It contains everything and anything, but the purpose of these works is, universally, to reaffirm someone's ideological worldview. They can be fiction or non-fiction, journalist pieces or a slop expose. Ghost-written garbage or an old woman's oppression porn. It doesn't cater to one aisle or the other, but everything within it is utterly fucking useless to a young man looking to get away from the world and enjoy a story. So, he's left reading old books that're probably too advanced for him given how poor literacy has become in the West, or looking overseas at translated works written for his target demographic. Thus, the young men turn to anime, manga and light novels to find interesting stories, admirable heroes and aspirational goals. A lot of what gets produced over there is... well, it's slop. But slop is OK, slop is entertaining enough, and people are allowed to like and enjoy their slop. The important thing is that everyone can have a bit of slop just for themselves, and that's what's sorely lacking in the Western literary publishing industry. Oh and self-publishing on Amazon or via a publishing house is NG. Literally millions of AI "books" have been published to Amazon this year alone, there's just no point to uploading anything to it, and a lot of those self-publishing houses are just scams. Like actually just scams, stay far the fuck away from them. So anyways. I hope this has helped clear things up. For my part I'm trying to provide that niche, but again, I just can't find a publisher and I don't have the money to self-publish so I'm kinda just stuck. Kadokawa opening up submissions to English-Language authors is, then, a viable route for someone like me but something about it doesn't sit right, I'm worried it'll have a bad effect on the Japanese media landscape if we all go too hard.

@AcSK1LLies Vic was never found to be anything other than innocent. To sue he would've had to prove that every one of those was false/malicious AKA provide texts where the witnesses claim that "I'm just doing this to hurt Vic because I hate him," for all of the malicious accusations.

It was rumored years ago that Vic Mignogna was about step into a Director’s role at Funimation before he was falsely MeToo’d by Monica Rial and Jamie Marchi. (Fellow VAs at Funimation.) This meant that a straight, white, Christian male would have an increased level of authority over them on the projects they worked on together. They could not let this stand. And so, when an ERRONEOUS TWEET (that wasn’t even referring to Vic) went viral around the premiere of Dragon Ball Super: Broly essentially accusing Vic of being a pedophile, they set the plan in motion to get him fired from Funimation and black listed from the Con Circuit. Unfortunately, he was not successful in his legal attempt to clear his name. Though anyone that paid attention to the trial knows beyond a shadow of a doubt he never did what he was accused of.

Dragonball Z actor Vic Mignogna on using anime to evangelize for Christ: “There are kids – tens of thousands of them – that my pastor will never reach. They will never darken the door of First Baptist Church or any church, but they like Ouran High School, or they like Fullmetal Alchemist, or they like Dragonball Z, and they will listen to me talk and share my faith and share God’s love for them because they like my work. ... my job in anime has opened so many doors for me to get to share my faith with tens of thousands of people who would never otherwise be open to it.” Is this a great way to reach the youth?

First, Japan does not have “immigration” in the American sense, at all. In other words there is no visa category that enables you to get off a plane and live there permanently. You get a one year visa, or a three year visa depending on the category and after many years with good behavior you can apply for permanent residence. Many years after that you can apply for citizenship IF you give up other citizenships. Citizenship comes through descent; there is no birthright citizenship (except for orphans with no known parents). Second, the specific skills visa program was the latest version of a side used to get manual workers in for a limited period of time. The visas do not permit family accompaniment or conversion into permanent resident. Third, it is not unusual for people to have studied at American universities. Fourth, foreign ministers come and go in Japan. 20+ people have been minister of foreign affairs since 2000 alone. Who is in the post at any time may not be nearly as significant as you think. Fifth, you are assigning undue importance to the timing of when things are passed….

🧵 THREAD: How mass immigration came to Japan's shores 𝕏 saw a lovely cultural exchange between Americans and Japanese this past week, which got me wondering how and why Muslims came to Japan... so I spent the weekend looking into it. Japan went from officially having "no immigration policy" to a formal system with a cap of 820,000 foreign workers. Japan's Muslim population has gone from ~110,000 (2010) to ~420,000 (end of 2024). There are now 149 mosques. The bill that created this was passed at 4:00 AM in December 2018. The opposition called it a "carte blanche." Deliberations were compressed. It passed anyway. What I found: 🔹 Three consecutive foreign ministers trained at American universities. 🔹 A foundation run by a Trilateral Commission member and a former US intelligence chief. 🔹 A $69 million fellowship network seeding 69 universities in 44 countries. 🔹 A UN framework signed the same month as the 4 AM vote. 🔹 Sixteen bilateral labor agreements managed through a single coordinating body. 🔹 A Japan-specific immigration program drafted by a Japanese national while he was interning inside the US Senate. In July 2025, a party that didn't exist before COVID won 14 seats and finished third in the popular vote. By February 2026, the LDP won its biggest parliamentary majority since 1955, running on tighter immigration. Unfortunately, Americans and Japanese have more in common beyond love of BBQ. They have the mass migration problem in common. Receipts below. 👇 As always, patience as I pull together the thread.

It's a money game. If 1 million populists outspend 1 billionaire, the politicians become our slaves instead of theirs. So: -look for "vulnerable" politicians who aren't getting as much donor money -organize a non-profit with a trusty head to represent you. -donate to the non-profit. -have him directly lobby the politician, representing your needs as written in whatever contact you make with the non-profit. -if you can't afford senators, support local politicians/judges instead.

I have never been a Democrat. My views align more closely with Republicans, but after the last 24 hours my disgust is paralyzing. I have not supported a third party because I remember when it handed Bill Clinton the presidency. I signed the petition for the Convention of States but remain skeptical because there will be no agreement. What's left? I love our country. What can we do besides shout on X which doesn't seem very effective?
