@liftblog Pretty impressive. You need to plan well in advance to get those kind of rates though. I wonder what % of that is season pass holders who ski 10+ days. I remember in 2022 buddy passes for my wife were still ~$200

Skiers paid an average of $134 for a day on Vail Mountain this season, a far cry from the much-hyped $356 peak window price. Consumers should think about walk up lift tickets at top tier mountains like hotel prices at a front desk or airfare at a check-in counter. Not the price most people pay.

@SnowBrains I skied there all day today and there are tons of places with scrub bushes sticking up through the snow and the Back Bowls are closed. Beaver Creek, a few miles away is much worse.

@KeyzersozeBlue Sorry to hear that. We put our last dog down 3+ years ago and she’s still my wallpaper on my phone.

It’d been a tough month but we finally had to let go. Our 8 yo English lab Percy was adopted at birth. He was diagnosed with aggressive nerve sheath tumor on his spine a month ago. We did everything we could but finally agreed to euthanasia after he his ability to move.

MRI results on my ski injury from 6 days ago are way worse than anticipated. I have two severe tears in the two main calf muscles. One is fully torn. Both are class 3, the worst classification. I talk to a doc in a week, but it looks like my ski season may be done.

@KeyzersozeBlue A friend has cases of it and his wife calls it horse piss. I tasted it and agree with her. It was very odd to say the least.

@HiTechInvestor I think the bottle was corked, maybe 2nd time in my life. Opened a bottle of Arkenstone which was good. Roast was great.

Roast in the oven and wine in the decanter! 2018 Horsepower Syrah from Wala Wala valley! I was told it’s highly rated.

Boys picked their first wine from the cellar to finish our family dinner, how did they do?
