Republicans keep saying you need ID to buy a beer or board a plane but keep leaving out that the IDs you use to do those things aren’t accepted under the SAVE America Act. They’re lying because it’s a voter suppression bill — not a voter ID bill.

If you're going to weigh in on what's wrong with classrooms, you should be able to answer a few basic questions: When did you last teach in one? What's your actual background in education? Who's funding your work? No gatekeeping. Just transparency. For everyone.

Did the Massachusetts millionaire tax prompt "tax flight"? Sure doesn't look like it to me. In fact, outmigration rates for high-income tax returns were LOWER than they were for everyone else.

If every American voter, without a passport, decided to get a passport, as their primary form of ID, it would take 5 years to fill the requests. But Republicans want this to be in effect before the midterms. They know this, of course, so it’s obvious voter suppression.

Photo ID should be facilitated by the government -and provided to every American citizen -free of charge -available at any government office -principally DMV’s. -free.

Under the SAVE Act, you cannot use your driver's license to register to vote. Republicans want you to buy a passport instead. If you can afford one. This is a modern-day poll tax.

When I got married 15 years ago, I was making $300,000 a year and my wife was making $40,000 a year. I had a deep understanding of finance investing, etc. etc. you think I’m gonna combine my finances and go through all my thought processes before I do anything that makes no sense at all

When I got married 15 years ago the thought of not completely merging our finances did not even occur to me. It just seemed like an obvious no-brainer that married couples 100% share their financial situation.

The maximum an individual can legally donate to a candidate in an election is $3300. Elon donated $277M to Trump in 2024 because of loopholes rich people use to buy elections. If you care about election integrity — overturn Citizens United so our elections aren’t auctions.

A lot of folks were outraged when the FBI got a warrant to search Mar-a-Lago for classified documents that Trump stole. Yet those same people are quiet when ICE is breaking down Americans’ doors without any warrant and trampling on the 4th Amendment. Why is that?
