@MjTheHunter Step away from everything about the game for a short while, simply put it down and stop thinking about it. Go do something completely different as a complete distraction. Give your brain a rest and a chance to reset. Then when refreshed, write a clear list of good and bad bits.

@MjTheHunter Give yourself a deadline to hit. Doesn't have to be a full release or even a demo release, but a deadline is a good way to force yourself to stop getting in your head and commit to something. Also, the sooner you get playtester feedback, the better.

Gaming price by hours is such a ridiculous take. I mean i would gladly give 70 dollars for another Requiem or Pragmata at 10-12 hours over bloated open world games that grow to feel like a chore after awhile.

I’ve been experimenting with X for about a month. I don’t think the algorithm works like it used to. Before, it felt more like: Hashtags + likes + retweets = reach. Now it feels more like: Topic clarity + account trust + real replies + niche audience = reach. So I’ll share my observations one by one. Not as an expert. Just as someone testing it every day. Topics I’ll cover: • Old X vs New X • Account score / trust signals • Premium / blue check advantage • Hashtags • Replies vs likes • First sentence / hook • Links in posts • Images, GIFs and videos • Posting throughout the day • Niche account advantage • Why “wishlist now” posts don’t always work • Real questions vs fake engagement questions Maybe it helps other indie devs too. #IndieGame #GameDev #IndieDev
