We have @TSA delays and chaos nationwide because of 15% of the fanatic @TheDemocrats base and elected politicians' fear of them. Imagine selling out the majority of the American people and 60,000 government workers because of a maniacal minority that you can't say no to.

The approval rating of @TheDemocrats and the @GOP is 15%. Americans reelect incumbents 94% of the time. American voters are fùcking mòrons.

It's quite ironic and deserved that the sector of the economy that is getting hit with layoffs because of AI is the sector of the economy that invented AI.

It should be very clear by now that the @GOP and @TheDemocrats parties are an embarrassment to the United States of America. The only hope for the 70% of people that aren't partisan mòrons is for the @Fwd_Party to marginalize these Republican and Democrat ìdiots into irrelevancy.

Another failed Senate vote is extending the partial government shutdown, with TSA shortages growing and airport lines stretching for hours across the country.

Senator @berniemoreno owned @SenGaryPeters in the Mullin hearing. What an amazing takedown. And then smug Peters gets caught on camera smirking as Moreno leaves for a dignified transfer ceremony. Peters ought to learn something about dignity.

@AverageJoeIowan 🙄 Maybe focus your party on winning enough elections to actually become relevant in Iowa before spouting off like you've actually convinced Iowans of anything you stand for. You've got some bold words considering your party is basically a super-minority in Iowa politics.

@AverageJoeIowan Republicans are voting in the affirmative to open and operate a functioning government. Democrats are voting to keep a government agency closed and inoperable.

Republican have the power to stop this madness, but won't. Why would we allow them in power ever again since they value their own jobs more than our futures?

@ChrisMWilliams Do you think his shooting problems actually increases the likelihood that he'll be back at Iowa State next year (i.e., reduced his value in the portal)? Shooting needs to be the only thing he works on all offseason.

Would really like to see a more assertive Toure… he’s passing up everything. Good half to regain some confidence. Same for Heise.

@CBSNews @ImtiazTyab Then maybe, just maybe, Qatar and their neighbors ought to actually do something about Iran and Muslim terrorists instead of just talk and tweet.

@flyLAXairport As reported by @LAmag Courtney Moore says "We'd be disappointed if the rideshare companies pass that along to the riders or the driver." Either Courtney has never taken a business class or she thinks the public is so stupid that they will read that without laughing hysterically.

For the 1st time in 10 years, the fees for rideshare companies at LAX is being adjusted. These fees do not need to be passed to riders, but they are necessary and they do support enhancing the airport experience for guests. Read the full story: cbsnews.com/losangeles/new…

@BlisterPearl That's just it - This bodies-for-oil crap doesn't have to be. We can make oil a non-issue for the USA if we had the will.

To everyone sweating gas prices, a reminder: we could have electrified the grid, gotten off fossil fuels, and replaced all vehicles with EVs for the same cost as the Iraq war. ɢɪᴠᴇ ᴀ ꜱʜɪᴛ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ɴᴀᴛᴜʀᴇ

Ryan Melton: Dem for U.S. House, IA-4
Iowans want you to lower their property taxes, stop the brain drain, clean up the water, fight the cancer crisis, fund public education above inflation, and stop the economic hollowing out. I’m sure all of those concerns are of much higher priority to Iowans of all backgrounds.
Bleeding Heartland@LauraRBelin

After the Iowa House passed yet another discriminatory bill on Thursday, I asked Speaker Pat Grassley why Republicans have focused so much on bills targeting transgender Iowans. Our exchange: youtube.com/shorts/JoDDxJQ…

@ferrisbuhler81 Have we tried taxing pesticides out of existence? It worked for cigarettes.

We didn’t give cigarettes immunity. We didn’t give asbestos immunity. We didn’t give lead immunity. So why are we protecting pesticides?

@ferrisbuhler81 Because US farming isn't economically viable today without synthetic pesticides. And if there is no US pesticide industry anymore, then China controls the US food supply. Until we have a viable non-pesticide farm economy, we only have two choices. Liability shield or China.

@LyleMuller The solution to that problem is for the electorate to elect better politicians that can actually pass laws, not to decide that you're just going to ignore the laws because the people we elect can't get the job done.
