Back by popular request. ๐ฟ๐ฆWHY does South Africa's ANC not want anyone to talk about Quatro Camp Angolaโ๏ธ Established in 1979, Quatro was supposed to be the rehabilitation centre of the ANC where enemy agents who had infiltrated the ANC would be "re-educated" and would be made to love the ANC through the opportunity to experience the humane character of its ideals. Regrettably, through a process that still cries out for explanation, Quatro became known to be worse than any prison known in southern Africa. To examine the history of Quatro is to uncover the concealed forces that operate in a political organisation such as the ANC. And this is what the ANC today do not want outsiders to know. Quatro, officially known as Camp 32, was renamed after Morris Seabelo (real name Lulamile Dantile), one of the ANC's first and trusted commanders. He was a Soviet-trained intelligence officer, a student at the Moscow Party Institution and a publicised young hero of the South African Communist Party (SACP). In late 1985 he mysteriously lost his life at an underground ANC residence in Lesotho, where none of those he was with, including Nomkhosi Mini, was spared to relate the story. Located about 15km from the town of Quibaxe, north of Luanda, Quatro was one of the most feared of the secret camps of the ANC, and only a selected few in the ANC leadership, (Mzwandile Piliso, Joe Modise, Andrew Masondo and also the then general secretary of the SA Communist Party, Moses Mabhida) had access. First-hand accounts describe the human rights abuses in African National Congress's (ANC's) torture camp Quatro that led to the mutiny in Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) in Angola in 1984. The first-hand testimony by former combatants of Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) about the African National Congress (ANC) prison regime, together with press reports that began to appear in Britain, are an event in South African history. Never before has such concentrated factual evidence been presented about the inner nature of the ANC and its eminence grise, the South African Communist Party (SACP). The misdeeds of the Soviet-sponsored African National Congress have been well chronicled. It operated under and parallel to the South African Communist Party, established in the early 1920s as the first Communist Party outside the Soviet Union. A history that has remained silently hidden, one that the African National Congress (ANC) hierarchy would prefer to forget. Not many want to talk about it or want this story to be told or even discussed despite having an opportunity to do so during the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and has been swept beneath the mat ever since, reasons for which are included in the story attached in the link below. Not forgetting that the shooting at the Sharpeville police station occurred soon after the Cato Manor riots in January 1960, during which a number of policemen were hacked to pieces and disembowelled. The atrocity was all over the news at the time. The police at Sharpeville were not taking any chances of going the same way. Notice the silence about the 45 people killed at Marikana 13 years ago. No outcry either about the 75 people murdered yesterday in South Africa!
