MAGA is full of glassy-eyed robots who remain “under orders” to detest DeSantis. Just look at their posts about him being AG.
They ignore the most impressive resume’ of conservative wins ever accumulated by any US Governor. Wins against Democrats, Covid tyranny, hurricanes, illegal aliens, ANTIFA, crooked judges and prosecutors, etc etc. And unless Trump gives the ok to like him, the MAGAbots will trash him again in ‘28.
Truly sad the country is likely to be cheated out of an 8 year presidential run of the most effective conservative leaders this country has seen in generations.

DeSantis *lost ground* after Trump’s endorsement. Six months after, he was down double digits and still being far out-raised.
It wasn’t until the June debate that he changed the race.

I am going to very strongly disagree with some of my friends and say that Ron DeSantis should not be the next attorney general.
Recall what he said about the Stormy Daniels case, his weak objections to the lawfare against the president including raid of Mar-a-Lago, and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, his refusal to defend/protect his own constituents being tormented by the Biden FBI/DOJ in the J6 persecution.
Florida had the greatest number of J6ers and DeSantis did nothing to help defend them. (And spare me the "he couldn't do anything, they were federal cases.) He refused to even meet with J6ers and their families.
A big no from me.

I know there are still a lot of DeSantis fans out there, but that shipped has sailed. Maybe once upon a time he found a way to message as a populist and govern as a conservative, but that's no longer the case. His words AND actions now reflect the twisted fusionism he tried to run on in 2024, an attempted synthesis of populism as the symbiote with conservatism as the host. But as we've seen time and time again...not only does the symbiote kill the host, the populists will always eventually prefer the whole mccoy, not the watered down variant. There are so many better options when it comes to reasserting Reaganite-style conservatism in the GOP...I see no need to waste time discussing DeSantis 2028. I'm a solid no.
