Tech Layoff & Market Insights
@WallStreetMav If every H-1B visa holder had to leave within 90 days: → Companies get transition time → Hundreds of thousands of tech, engineering & finance jobs open up → Americans get first shot at their own job market Tell me again why this hasn't happened.

@IngrahamAngle 💯 Yet, the new H-1Bs have been selected. Their H-4 spouses will also take jobs. Ethno-nepotism has spread through corporate America, like a cancer. The entire alphabet of visas need to be eliminated, or at least paused.

Absolutely cancel H4 EAD. Please open up jobs for American workers. There should not be any spouses authorized to work while qualified American workers are unemployed (many laid off and replaced by H-1B visa holders, or their jobs offshored). Ethno-nepotism has spread like a cancer in corporate America. We are being discriminated against in our own country!

@WhiteHouse Then why is nothing being done? This does not need Congress approval, including termination of H4 EAD! x.com/ChillMode2345/…

Those who were not selected in this year's H1B lottery here on a student visa will continue to exploit our generous high-trust education system by enrolling in Day1 CPT programs and continue working their full-time jobs. This Day1 CPT is controlled by these online line universities that allows them to keep working without any approval required from the @DHSgov, @USCIS, or @USDOL. @realDonaldTrump @POTUS @StephenM @JDVance No one cares about our graduate sons and daughters who believed in the promises made to them and who voted GOP back in power, only to be sidelined again! These Day1 CPT program abuses can be stopped right now with an executive order! These abuses are designed in the program to bypass all the restrictions in the laws passed by congress. Why don't our current leaders want to stop these abuses? These loopholes/scams are being discussed 24/7/365 days in this thread! Day1CPTuniversities reddit.com/r/Day1CPTunive…

The Truth About Who Replaced American Workers- It was Republicans and Democrats and goes back further than most realize. You were told Boomers ruined the job market. That is a lie. A very deliberate lie told repeatedly in various forms by the people who want us fighting each other and not recognizing the truth. The truth is this is nothing new and goes back as long as cheap labor exploitation has taken place - centuries. In 1925 the US put a stop to it then the silent generation opened the border back up ~ 1965 and its only grown since. The real story is written in federal laws, corporate lobbying, and visa programs designed to replace American workers with cheaper labor from overseas. Here are the names, dates, and companies behind it. In 1990, Senator Ted Kennedy and President George H. W. Bush created the modern H 1 B program through the Immigration Act of 1990. It opened the door for companies to legally replace American workers. It was sold as modernization. It was the moment corporate America realized it could cut wages forever. In 1998 and 2000, Congress raised H 1 B caps again after heavy lobbying from Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, and the U S Chamber of Commerce. They claimed there were not enough American workers. It was not true. They wanted cheaper workers who could not quit. In 2009, President Barack Obama approved the STEM OPT extension. It gave foreign graduates up to three years of U S work with no cap and no payroll taxes. American students were forced to compete against workers subsidized by their own government. Tech giants demanded this. They got everything they asked for. In 2014, the administration created H 4 work permits without a vote from Congress. It allowed spouses of H 1 B holders to enter the labor market. This doubled the pipeline and pushed out even more Americans. Immigration attorneys and outsourcing giants pressured for the rule. The companies that benefited the most included Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and HCL. They took over entire departments inside major U S corporations. They imported their own workers. They pushed out Americans. They were sued repeatedly for discrimination. They paid fines. They kept going. Which American companies replaced the most citizens with visa workers. Disney. They made Americans train their replacements. Southern California Edison. Two hundred and fifty six Americans gone in one wave. AT&T. Fired Americans during record profits. Walmart. Eliminated U S tech staff but kept visa contractors. Boeing. Outsourced critical engineering work before their failures began. The politicians who protected this system included Senator John McCain, Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator Mitch McConnel, Senator Chuck Schumer, and Representative Zoe Lofgren. Each received support from corporations that demanded more visa workers. Each ignored the impact on American families. None of this was actually caused by Boomers. Boomers built the industries these companies gutted. Boomers paid the taxes that funded the schools that trained the workers who replaced their children. Boomers carried the country for decades while globalists cashed in. The truth is simple. Boomers did not break America. Globalists did. Now you know exactly who.

Job searching is now the most soul-crushing endeavor ever. This jobs report does not match the reality on the ground. Our tech industry has been completely surrendered to foreign nationals! Ethno-nepotism has spread through corporate America, like a cancer. We need the work visas canceled, and offshoring to be addressed. Spouses of H-1B should not receive work authorizations. I voted for America First!

@RapidResponse47 @RealPNavarro These jobs certainly are not in tech, accounting, finance... at least not for Americans. Ethno-nepotism has taken root in corporations across America. The H-1Bs continue to be approved, and their H-4 spouses take jobs too. The Golden Age is not happening for us.

Our entire tech industry has been surrendered. Americans have been locked out of the industry. Yet, the H-1Bs still flood in. H-4 spouses should never receive work authorizations when so many qualified Americans are unemployed. Job searching is the most soul-crushing and humiliating endeavor.

🦔While Oracle was sending 6am termination emails to between 20,000 and 30,000 employees this week, the company had filed roughly 3,126 H-1B petitions to hire foreign workers in fiscal years 2025 and 2026, including 436 filed this year alone. H-1B petitions are required when companies seek to hire foreign workers in specialty occupations like technology. Amazon, which has cut 30,000 corporate employees since October, filed 2,675 H-1B petitions over the same period. My Take The official justification for H-1B filings is that companies need specialized skills unavailable domestically. The honest explanation in most cases is cheaper labor. H-1B workers are often paid less than their American counterparts for equivalent roles and are tied to their employer through visa sponsorship, which limits their ability to negotiate or leave. Oracle didn't lay off 18% of its workforce because those people lacked skills. It laid them off to free up $8-10 billion in cash flow to service AI infrastructure debt. Filing hundreds of foreign worker petitions in the same period is a cost structure decision, and the people who got that 6am email and then saw these filings have every right to be angry about it. HUGE. The U.S. economy added nearly 180,000 jobs last month (almost TRIPLE what economists expected) with major gains in the transportation and construction sectors. Not only is it a sign that employers have tremendous optimism this tax season thanks to Working Family Tax Cuts - it’s a sign they’re preparing for increased demand, revenues, and production in 2026.
