Caturday Update 🐱 Officially 6 Weeks Old! Our little torbie Libby hit a big milestone today — 6 weeks old and growing like crazy! ✅ This week: +240 grams ✅ Total since pickup (4 ounces / ~113 g on May 23): +652 grams — now 765 grams (~1.7 lbs) She crushed her wet food this morning, played hard, and finally got one of the dogs to join in the fun 😹 . Did not care for the Big Cat too much. (two videos attached) My wife is already talking about adopting her and getting another same-age kitten so they can grow up together… I’m afraid she’s turning into a cat lady 😂 Not sure I am ready for a litter box. The Big guy comes in to eat and sometimes sleep, he does not have a litter box. @BuzzPatterson This makes sense! I almost always fly Delta because they seem to be the best in my experience. Plus, I want all my frequent flier miles to accrue on one airline. This gives me even more reason to stick with them. Thank you.

I say this as a career pilot. If you’re planning on flying commercially: 1) know the airline. They are not all created equal. 2) know the equipment (aircraft) type. Generally speaking, the bigger, the safer. 3) the cheapest ticket is not the best ticket. It’s usually the worst. 4) Different airlines have different aircraft maintenance. The big ones “usually” use in-house employees (way better). The cheaper airlines subcontract theirs, normally to Mexico. 5) Pilot training is generally consistent across all the companies but the bigger names have long-established programs that have been proven for decades.

@data_republican @BuzzPatterson I think a lot of them were maintained in Brazil but some of the bigger airlines pulled back on that after the public became aware. My Dad was a Delta fan too. I fly AA mostly because their base is here. They have the most options and direct flights.

I don't know - Trump came in focused on this. They clearly said but not widely reported, the focus was on in that region and the EU would have to 1, be more prepared to defend themselves and decide on what they wanted to do with Russia and Ukraine. It was not really reported like that. It was more about us leaving Nato, not about having the EU step up. That is one reason he neutered Iran. Cut off China's Oil from Venezuela, and Iran. Stop or slow the terrorist activities. Yes, Venezuela was also involved in the terrorist hub. Two big reasons right there. Israel is out ally in this but they also in it for themselves, just like we are.

@data_republican Capital Punishment should be like abortion very rare and in extreme cases. Killing a first responder is one trigger, Rape and Murder of a child is another one, Automatic, - no plea bargains.

I could do that, My Weber pellet will get to 600F. So yeah, I have put on smoke boost for 10 mins - 180 F. Pull and raise to 600 and sear it. About 1~1.5 mins, flip repeat 3 more times to cross hatch. I have a video on my phone. The phone got too hot and shut down. It was tricky trying the record and flip properly.

We do it all the time. I was on a plane years ago and I think it was a Colonel in Air Force. I was in the middle seat, he was on the isle and the guy in the window was asking him questions about sales of the F-35. The long and short of it was if we don't sell them then another country will and at that time it was likely the MIGs. Yes the MIC does have a lot of power but the rational for selling and lending on a payment plan makes sense too.

Make some drop Biscuits for Hospitality at Church tomorrow. This will be the 3rd batch giving me close to 75. Likely will make some mustard BBQ to use on ribs tomorrow and later in week when I smoke some pork butt for a nice lady at church. She has like 25 people / family coming next Saturday so want it finished on Friday. What kind of berries, what are the plans, cobbler, pie, jam or simply in a bowl.

Other people trying to clear their desk on Friday. Pretty rude. Monday, start new projects. I always tried to keep Wednesday open with little scheduled and a good day to update people if I did not on Tuesday. Try to finish or wrap up on Thursday, and Friday, Give up dates but don't push off on anyone. That is a Monday / Tuesday thing - yes you can circle back to people on open issues where you need them to respond. Do so before noon Friday. Never start any projects on Friday. Does not matter how simple. 9/10 times it will blow up and haunt you all weekend
