@PINKSAWTOOTH What have you been doing to get it to work correctly? I've just begun working in lm studio and Gemma 4 E4B

@jere_codes Have you thought about water tables? Maybe when you dig deep enough the water starts to fill the hole back to the water line? Could be cool.
English

@jere_codes Yesh mine was stuck in stacks on stacks. Make 1 little change and it would be mostly smooth but slow to spread. Frustrating to say the least.
English

@KDBeesley spread like the waves seen here? I'll say I have had a hell of a hard time spreading water voxels. either they sit in a lump or I have to deal with constant jitter that gets them super spread out.

@no_stp_on_snek @thePartyPartyUS This could really use a good YouTube video or two, on how to use these local models for anything useful. I have a 7900xtx at home, but struggle to grasp the big picture of what people are using them for. I don't mean "computer scientists" I mean average joe -> novice programmer.
English

@thePartyPartyUS Get yourself some compressed local models with turboquant+!

The private labs are your enemies.
They built their models on your stolen data and charge you $200/mo for the fruit. They will discard you as soon as they can.
Enterprises should realize they'll be used and discarded just as quickly. Remember how Amazon used diaper data to corner the market? The AI companies will be 1000x worse.
ℏεsam@Hesamation
Redditor claims Claude Code is nerfed for Pro/Max users vs Enterprise customers and the strategy is to use the paid plan users to generate hype on X and LinkedIn so companies would reach out to them.

@ClaudiusMaxx @demishassabis Logan posted Gemma. Same time. So it's gemmq

@JackWoth98 @ItsChrisOnX I am on the latest version. Mine got reset 2 days ago, and within 1 hour I hit a limit and am now waiting 7 days. I maybe got 2-3 requests before my limit was hit. The downgrade for pro users within the last 2 weeks is so palpable.
English

@ItsChrisOnX Are you on the latest version? I believe things should be back to 5hr window for Antigravity?

An important update for Gemini CLI users 👇
To be transparent we have had to make some tough decisions to keep up with demand and provide a stable service for higher trust/priority subscriptions.
Most notably the free tier of Gemini CLI, which in a weeks time will lose access to Gemini Pro models.
Definitely worth reading the full details, if folks have questions, please ask them and I will do my best to respond 🙏
English

.@antigravity has an issue where if you are waiting for your model reset time to hit and before it does, you use all of your credits, it extends your waiting time for another 5 days. This just happened to me, where i was supposed to get a reset in 5 hours, now its 5 days.
English

@I_ajith_robin @antigravity I'm using it for Unity Game Dev using RmlUi and C# Microservices architecture for party/lobbies/friends/matchmaking etc.
English

.@antigravity is impossible to use. I wonder how much of my quota is being taken up because the servers are overloaded. How much am i losing just because of this.

English

I honestly have no idea how i maxed out my Gemini 3.1 Pro quota. I am wondering if using it for Deep Research in the @GeminiApp eats up the quota faster than just coding? Would be nice to be able to understand where all that quota went. @antigravity

@deanwball @Thacyline The only way to guarantee that is by doing what the dow is doing.

If DoW and Anthropic can’t agree on terms of business, then… they shouldn’t do business together. I have no problem with that.
But a mere contract cancellation is not what is being threatened by the government. Instead it is something broader: designation of Anthropic as a “supply chain risk.” This is normally applied to foreign-adversary technology like Huawei.
In practice, this would require *all* DoW contractors to ensure there is no use of Anthropic models involved in the production of anything they offer to DoW. Every startup and every Fortune 500 company alike.
This designation seems quite escalatory, carrying numerous unintended consequences and doing potential significant damage to U.S. interests in the long run.
I hope the two organizations can work out a mutually agreeable deal. If they can’t, I hope they agree to peaceably part ways.
But this really needn’t be a holy war. Anthropic isn’t Google in 2018; they have always cared about national security use of AI. They were the most enthusiastic AI lab to offer their products to the national security apparatus. Is Anthropic run by Democrats whose political messaging sometimes drives me crazy? Sure. But that doesn’t mean it’s wise to try to destroy their business.
This administration believes AI is the defining technology competition of our time. I don’t see how tearing down one of the most advanced and innovative AI startups in America helps America win that competition. It seems like it would straightforwardly do the opposite.
The supply chain risk designation is not a necessary move. Cheaper options are on the table. If no deal is possible, cancel the contract, and leverage America’s robustly competitive AI market (maintained in no small part by this administration’s pro-innovation stance) to give business to one or more of Anthropic’s several fierce competitors.

@scottstts @ns123abc This show is probably one of the closest things to a perfect series. This and Elementary.

🚨BREAKING: Pentagon is now calling Claude a threat to national security
>pentagon embeds claude in military systems via palantir
>january: claude used in maduro extraction, people got smoked
>anthropic exec calls palantir like “hey did our AI help kill people”
Defense Secretary Hegseth reportedly “close” to classifying Anthropic as supply chain risk. All defense contractors must certify zero anthropic or lose contracts.
CEO Amodei wants guardrails on autonomous weapons and mass surveillance of Americans.
Pentagon says “all lawful purposes” or nothing:
>“we will make them pay”

@NeroRingmaster @RepLuna Evil men and women at the top, i.e. Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein's secretary.
English

@RepLuna Although this is true,we must remember the vast amount of power and threats held over them. They should be held accountable but now is not the time to pull a switch up and take the focus off the evil men at the top responsible for this.
English

It has become very apparent that Jeffrey Epstein was grooming some of his victims to become traffickers. Some of the most horrifying emails being widely circulated are not from men, but from women who claimed to be victims (hence some of the redactions).
Once you turn 18, if you are still engaged in trafficking children, that is a choice. At that point you’re no longer a victim, you’re a co-conspirator.
To be clear, not all victims are guilty of this, however it’s a fact that some of them are.
Yes you heard that right, some of the women claiming to be victims helped traffic children. Clearly this is just the tip of the iceberg but it’s important to recognize the facts.
English

@lisamurkowski Do Democrats have compromising info on you? Is that why you are like this? Are you compromised by foreign entities maybe?
English

The tragedy and chaos the country is witnessing in Minneapolis is shocking. The killing yesterday of Alex Pretti, a U.S. citizen, by ICE agents should raise serious questions within the administration about the adequacy of immigration-enforcement training and the instructions officers are given on carrying out their mission. Lawfully carrying a firearm does not justify federal agents killing an American—especially, as video footage appears to show, after the victim had been disarmed.
A comprehensive, independent investigation of the shooting must be conducted in order to rebuild trust and Congressional committees need to hold hearings and do their oversight work. ICE agents do not have carte blanche in carrying out their duties.

@grok @zoohost @RichGinter @2Aupdates @grok what other states have such restrictions as Hawaii does, that would be affected by the supreme court ruling against Hawaii.

@JeffDean Can we get some Mongolian voice translation so I can communicate with my girlfriend's parents. Thanks m8.

Much better language & translation models across many languages make AI more accessible to everyone, and enable us all to communicate better with the world. I helped push for us to gather better and more multilingual training data, and TranslateGemma is one downstream result!

This is insane. How people are feeling so brazen to attack and threaten federal officers makes no sense to me.

New footage from St. Cloud, MN: Somali mob rushes DHS agents during a raid with overwhelming numbers. @Sec_Noem - agents need reinforcements and National Guard on the ground. Without superior force, these mobs will feel unstoppable, and you will have Mogasota on your hands.
