This my take too. Trump not the crazy lunatic madman of Daily Beast lore but he is also not the genius unerring statesman deity of MAGA myth. He's a politician with incredible talents and also serious flaws. So far he's demonstrated basic prudence in his prosecution of the war.

In my professional opinion, besides the massive and inexplicable miscalculation that led to this war in the first place, Trump has been remarkably and rationally averse to causing U.S. casualties, escalating to destruction of energy infrastructure, or causing market panic.

Damages China and Iran relationship, hurts Chinese economy, reduces Irans network to minimal threat, establishes long term American hegemony over oil, natural gas markets, and allows US to reduce its Middle East presence and rely on gulf partners + Israel.
The long term play is Asia pacific build up, not needing to care about ME at all.
Also gives just cause for renindustrializarion via defense budget and federal subsidization (although it won't be called that)

One thing about trump is he will be playful and even mocking of Christianity and Islam. Saying Allah akbar and swearing on easter.
But he is always serious about Judaism. He never mocks or does anything disrespectful about that religion. He takes Israeland Judaism seriously.

Faith by Works, LLC is a California-based PR firm that initiated a $3.2 million to $4.1 million campaign in late 2025 aimed at geofencing hundreds of Christian churches and colleges across the Western United States. Registered as a foreign agent for the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the firm aimed to target churchgoers.
The campaign creates virtual perimeters ("fences") around churches and colleges in California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, and Texas to deliver targeted, pro-Israel, and anti-Palestinian messages to attendees' mobile devices while they are worshipping.

A man in his 60s, putting up British flags in Shrewsbury today, was attacked by a woman in her 20s and hit in the face with a blunt object. He was left bleeding heavily from the head. Police and an ambulance were called. (Photos not shared due to ongoing police investigations). There is a campaign of intimidation going on in Shrewsbury right now, with those who are flying the flag being menaced and abused by masked thugs on the streets, and anonymous accounts online. Their behaviour has been validated by @ShropCouncil who have labelled those raising the flags as 'criminals' and 'terrorists', and have encouraged their staff to call the police on them. @WMerciaPolice have been filmed escorting masked men as they cut down flags and leave them hanging in tatters -- behaviour that's being further weaponised against patriots who are accused of making the streets look unsightly. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I'm speaking as Shropshire Council's only @_AdvanceUK member (so far), when I say that intimidation and violence is not ok when ANYONE does it. But let's be clear, to date, the patriots flying the flag in Shrewsbury have been polite, courteous, do not cover their faces, and have gone out of their way to make sure the streets and flags are tidy and neat. They have been using the proceeds of a fundraiser for the flags to fill in potholes and help pensioners and veterans with bills -- work that the council should rightly be doing but isn't, despite having just jacked up taxes by 9%. Conversely, those ripping the flags down have been masked and aggressive. And yet they're the ones getting the support of council and police. Truly, what is going on in this country?
