Here’s my @solana story (and why I love Solana).💜 Last year in May, I had JUST gotten hired at @WalletConnect after my epic layoff from Cointelegraph that went viral. My first assignment was to go to Solana Accelerate in NYC and shoot content + run a booth. Now. Up to that point, I had done 3 years entirely in the Ethereum space and I knew NO ONE in Solana. So I was nervous.🥺👉👈 But I didn’t have to. People came and spoke to me. I made friends with a bunch of the Superteam leaders, a few creators, some founders, and KOLs. I loved the event so I posted my honest impressions. Well, @solana followed and reposted. @toly and @rajgokal both followed me. I was shocked.🤯 Was it *that* easy to get accepted into the Solana space? Apparently, yes. No ego. Since then, I’ve gone to a number of Superteam events, made SO many friends in Solana, pet @mert’s bald head in Singapore, attended the SG Accelerate, Breakpoint in Abu Dhabi, had @ramzyyalii in my content… Made friends with @platis_e (I’m a huge fan of hers, we all are), and I’ll be going to the London Breakpoint too. Plus, we at WalletConnect as a team love Solana and are making plans with @solanaspaces for something really cool. Solana is welcoming. It’s fun. There’s degen but there’s the seriousness of teams who understand revenue and how to make money and reach users. Besides, @vibhu is the absolute GOAT at media (plz let me intern with you for a day?) and @niran7 is crushing social. I’ve got a feeling that is just the beginning. Happy birthday to the ultimate comeback kid. ily

I’m a landlord. It’s a tough business. I had a tenant, Mr. Alvarez. Never late on rent for 5 years. Then, the checks stopped. I went to his apartment. He didn’t open the door. I used my key. The apartment was empty. No furniture. Just a mattress on the floor and Mr. Alvarez sitting on it. “I’m sorry,” he said, looking down. “My wife got sick. The medication… I sold everything.
