Noisy Air Horns ๐จโ ๏ธ
Just like aftermarket high intensity blinding LEDโs, loud Airhorns too need a checkโฆ

@DriveSmart_IN Enforcement is the problem, until anyone pays hefty fines for crossing those lines everyone will be driving like this.
English

@DriveSmart_IN Back in the day everyone used to dip their beams after seeing a car in the opposite lane. Nowadays the art of driving is lost. Many young drivers don't have the patience and the will to understand these niceties.
English

@iamBabuSeth @MinistryOfMemer @Deadlykalesh No one expects a truck to be reversing in the middle of the highway. We need to expect the unexpected here.
English

@MinistryOfMemer @Deadlykalesh Actually Bolero wala also tried to squeze in and overtake from between two trucks. Many carwalas and small vehicles have this habit.
Unfortunately the truck in right hand wasnt moving forward, instead coming backward.
English

@DriveSmart_IN @motordave2 Such people making confused moves on the road are my real fear. They don't have a clear intent and are not aware of their surroundings either.
English

@Nabeel591420 @DriveSmart_IN @motordave2 Very true, old gem drivers were aware about this. It's shocking that younger drivers are worse. Even though vehicles have become more powerful. ๐
English

@DriveSmart_IN @motordave2 Even 2026 people still not understood๐ฅบ
I think the old gen drivers were very wise on this
Now people want the light to be like sun

@DriveSmart_IN Honestly given the driving maners the design of the intersection is severely flawed. We need to be extra careful while approaching such junctions.
English

@DriveSmart_IN People, especially commercial vehicle drivershave started watching reels and series while driving. It's really sad how little they value road safety.

@DriveSmart_IN @motordave2 The Audi had a lot of room on its left to move.

@Caatalystt @Nimmabhaskar22 The reality is that the truvks only use this to gaurd to hide their number plates in India.
English

@Nimmabhaskar22 The importance of rear underride guards is often misunderstood.
Authorities should check and make it mandatory in every heavy vehicle. If it's is available, it should be strong and well integrated with the vehicle's chasis.

@manas_muduli Horrifying and sad visuals. Trucks should have under run bar at the rear for minimising the impact during rear collision. Sadly, many trucks in India do not have this bar. Drive safe.

Deeply saddened by the tragic road accident that claimed the lives of three young Sub-Inspectors of Karnataka Police. These officers wore the uniform with pride, stepped out every day to ensure the safety of others, and had their entire future ahead of them. Losing such young officers is a painful loss not only to their families but to the entire police fraternity.
This tragedy is also a stark reminder of the growing menace of road traffic accidents in our country.
Every year, thousands of young lives are lost on our roads โ many of them preventable. Behind every statistic is a grieving family, shattered dreams, and a void that can never be filled
My deepest condolences to the families of these Officers . ๐ฎ๐ณ๐

@motordave2 @AtharvMixraw The problem is that even auto rickshaws in the city have started using them.

@DriveSmart_IN The busses stopped with people around was a first warning of his speed and carelessness.

@i4uvarma @TopDriverIndia Minimum education was a requirement in our country but the transport ministry decided that it was not necessary.

All driving licences should be re-issued
Simple.
No tightening , just it's should be 5 yr plan to replace .
In 1-2 months or even in 1 ur we can't do that
1st should be heavy vehicles - reissued & also mainly the states transport buses( they are very good drivers- but arrogance)
Private bus drivers should have minimum education qualification - why only pilots/loco pilots needs education qualification why not heavy vehicle drivers??
2nd women priority ๐
3rd all 4 wheelers
4th separate license for delivery people with clear guidelines how to drive if vehicle is delivery vehicle
5. 2 W

Iโm glad someone has brought this up. This is the problem all over the country.
Will the transport Minister tighten the license issuance, or will we continue the status quo?

#Hyderabad: Updates from #Telangana Legislative Assembly #Winter Sessions โ#Driving in Hyderabad is the toughest job," says @AkbarOwaisi_MIM "When my driver was on #Christmas leave, I couldnโt manage to drive even for a day in Hyderabad. Despite using an #automaticcar, it was a #struggle, no one follows traffic rules. #Vehicles come from all sides without #discipline. Such #drivers shouldnโt be issued #licences. #Trafficrules must be made much stricter," said the @aimim_national MLA.

@motordave2 @DriveSmart_IN @dabir @RCBengaluru @InfraEye @uneaz There need to be strict action against this. Observe that he is only using the bright auxiliary lights and hasn't even turned on the bus' headlights. The rear lights will also be turned off. ๐คท
English

@TopDriverIndia @deepigoyal @ritujoon2j Other people break rules during the 1 hr commute to work but delivery drivers spend most of their time on city roads breaking the rules in the worst possible way.
English

Hi Deepinder, you are right, but I think people feel you have a social responsibility to ensure that your employees ride safely and not add to the existing traffic chaos.
And I agree on that too, if you are hiring people to be on wheels the whole day, then you have an obligation to train them to be better drivers.
English

One more thing. Our 10 minute delivery promise is enabled by the density of stores around your homes. Itโs not enabled by asking delivery partners to drive fast. Delivery partners donโt even have a timer on their app to indicate what was the original time promised to the customer.
After you place your order on Blinkit, it is picked and packed within 2.5 minutes. And then the rider drives an average of under 2kms in about 8 minutes. That's an average of 15kmph.
I understand why everybody thinks why 10 minutes must be risking lives, because it is indeed hard to imagine the sheer complexity of the system design which enables quick deliveries.
Also, if you've ever wanted to know why millions of Indians voluntarily take up platform work and sometimes even prefer it to regular jobs, JUST ASK any rider partner when you get your next food or grocery order.
You will be humbled by how rational and honest they will be with you.
Having said that, no system is perfect, and we are all for making it better than today. However, it is far from what it is being portrayed on social media by people who don't understand how our system works and why.
If I were outside the system, I would also believe that gig workers are being exploited, but that's not true.
