$4.99/gallon in St. Helens this morning. And now we see why… That extra 23¢ “Clean Fuels Program” isn’t so hidden after all. No wonder 250,000 Oregonians signed a petition to stop even MORE gas tax increases. Governor KoTAX isn’t making Oregon more livable… she’s taxing families out.

🚨 Rep. Ed Diehl Supports Federal Lawsuit to Protect Voter Voices in No Tax Oregon Referendum As soon as Senate Bill 1599 was signed by the Governor, we took legal action at the state level to challenge it. This federal lawsuit builds on the legal challenge several other plaintiffs and I already filed in state court. I introduced the plaintiff to counsel and submitted my declaration in support of the case. Mary Martin @trinitymary exemplifies the courage and resilience of everyday Oregonians, stepping forward despite personal hardships to champion accessibility and fairness for all voters. I’m honored to have her support. Protecting the people's right to vote is bigger than any one individual, and we welcome anyone who wants to join the fight.

🚨WE’RE GOING TO FEDERAL COURT Once 250,000 Oregonians signed the petition referring Tina Kotek’s $4.3 tax to the November ballot, they took control of this measure and deserve their day in court. This is about continuing the fight to defend the rights of Oregonians. When the government creates rules that silence everyone but those with money or power, there must be a reckoning.
