@itkovian23 @Mathias___02 @GahmanJeffJeff @OhNyquist Seider’s looked like shit for one season when he resorted to flipping the puck out every time he touched it, which the player cards showed. They certainly don’t tell the full story but they tell a lot of one.

I would love to see Yzerman try and move Faulk. Probably won’t get anywhere close to what they gave up at the deadline but have to imagine he still has some value as a potential one year rental?

@P4Rogue @WingRaider @tmatthewshockey Based on what? There is no reason why Detroit should get less for Larkin than what NYI got for an old rental Brock Nelson. Even 4th-line caliber players are going for 1st round picks.

@WingRaider @tmatthewshockey It’s Larkin! A good 2C on a good team. You’ll get a good younger player and a pick (not a first) for him. That’s all, nothing else. Give your fucking head a shake.

No centerpiece. No conversation. That's what Steve Yzerman needs to tell anyone who calls. It doesn't need to be an established centerpiece. But one with high upside and is also on the right trajectory. #LGRW #RedWings

@wingsfan23 @TuskedUp Okay but in real hockey, there’s a 1C, 2C, 3C, 4C At the end of the day, he’s a 2C on a contender. You can use this 1A 1B all you want but he’s a 2C, end of story Can’t build a genuine cup contender with a 2C, you should know this as a Wings fan.

@Donkay_ When 4th-line centers are going for 1st round picks at the trade deadline, the expectations should be to get a big return.

Dylan Larkin will be 30 at the end of July. That is a max window of four more quality years. No team will give up a haul of young players, A level prospects and 1st round draft picks for a four year window. If he was 25-26 it's a completely different story.

@_50_in_07_ @puckempire Is it not more Dorions fault for acquiring a player who did not want to sign an extension? Larkin, on the other hand, signed a max-term contract, lied about commitment, and now wants out. This is not something a captain of a legendary franchise should be doing.

@puckempire Idk I get what you're saying but at the same time, shouldn't give someone a full NMC then. Make it a 20 team NTC or something like that, I understand people being annoyed but he negotiated this into the contract. He can use it to go where he wants. ADB did it to Ottawa.

I completely take back what I said about Larkin btw. Requesting a trade after over a decade of your teams incompetence is fine. Handicapping that team to three destinations is embarrassing. This isn't me defending Yzerman, he's terrible. But let Larkin rot in Detroit now.

@ZeterBeard @JonseyTime @JFreshHockey You had 11 years to give him more than one shot at a cup. He gave up his entire 20s with your organization and even then he re-upped three years ago where he could’ve pulled a marner instead so yeah I think he deserves some respect.

@HotTakeHockey Yzerman and Verbeek are good buddies and they like to make trades with each other: McTavish + for Larkin. Cossa is likely traded as well. This will be a crazy offseason for Detroit😮

Dylan Larkin trade request is INSANE (YouTube video incoming) Top trade destinations? To name a few: Western conf: 1. Wild 2. Ducks 3. Blues 4. Predators 5. Blackhawks Eastern conf: 1. Capitals 2. Hurricanes 3. Devils 4. Canadiens I doubt they trade in conference / division

@BradKrysko When do Seider and Raymond start asking for trades? 🤔This has to be a quick retool because soon those guys will start losing their patience as well, which is the worst-case scenario.

I don’t fully buy the whole “everyone needs to be near a certain age” window thing but at this point you just gotta full send around Mo and Raymond’s prime timeline. This can’t help with re-signing Kane or Debrincat either, Larkin quit on this team but will Cat or Kane now?

@H3llzCorn3rs @TalkTonysTakes @puckempire Four players are not enough. Stone and Hertl are currently on the 3rd line. That's called depth. Toronto hasn't had quality players like that lower down the lineup, or D-men that can defend and move the puck as well as Vegas.

@TalkTonysTakes @puckempire Why would they (Toronto) rely solely on Marner when they had Tavares, Nylander, and Matthews??? What's it gonna take for you delusional fans to realize Toronto is a toxic franchise and you're living proof they have a toxic fan base that deflects?

To be clear, nobody should clown Toronto fans for celebrating Marner leaving last summer. Pretending he was ever good in the playoffs in Toronto is disingenuous. It's very fair to clown Leafs fans coping by pretending he's still been bad in Vegas. At the end of the day, Toronto's management failed to build a proper team of depth around the core until it was too late.

@eLiaminators @OhNyquist It would be frustrating, considering what Nashville got for Askarov and the many similarities between him and Cossa. Both are 1st round picks with high upside, minimal NHL experience, and similar AHL stats.

@OhNyquist He's a goalie their value is always way lower than what we think especially a goalie that isn't established at the NHL level. Don't see the Wings moving him at this point though they have no reason too even though Augustine is likely the goalie of the future you never know

@CanucksHouse @AndrewLopezVine @JJHutcho007 @NHLRumourReport Hronek is putting up similar PPG numbers now as he did in Detroit, and he still has the same deficiencies in his game, and Vancouver acquired him for pick #17 and a 2nd-round pick. He holds slightly more value now due to his good contract, but his value has not skyrocketed.

@AndrewLopezVine @JJHutcho007 @NHLRumourReport That's the draft pick value of 2nd compared to 24th yes lol. Hronek is a premium asset. The canucks pick compensates the loss of a draft pick for SJ, it's not the primary trade. Hronek is the primary trade This is a fair trade, but gut feeling is no team moves off their pick.

@TheProspectDon Most ranked Sennecke lower for some weird reason, but the talent was obvious. Stankoven looked like a slightly worse version of Bedard at the WJC-18, and still is today. Faber didn't get much attention because he was deployed in a shutdown role, but he was excellent in the WJC-20
