I see a defenseman that skates okay with the puck on his stick but resorts to shooting pucks weakly on net rather than creating chances

I would love to see Yzerman try and move Faulk. Probably won’t get anywhere close to what they gave up at the deadline but have to imagine he still has some value as a potential one year rental?

@itkovian23 @Mathias___02 @GahmanJeffJeff @OhNyquist Seider’s looked like shit for one season when he resorted to flipping the puck out every time he touched it, which the player cards showed. They certainly don’t tell the full story but they tell a lot of one.

@AdamZHerman I’d argue that getting your young core a better chance at 12 games of playoff experience is way more valuable than the 18th pick in a weak draft

This hasn't earned enough appreciation as an absolutely awful trade by Anaheim. League-average team trading what became the 18th overall pick for a rental while up against a wall of Edmonton, Vegas, and Minnesota/Colorado/Dallas. Ridiculous asset management.

He still has a lot of value, and if traded this offseason I’d expect something close to what we gave up. (Holl mentioned 😂)

@worldhockeyrpt I personally don’t think it is. They’re getting a significant upgrade on the blue line but sacrificing in the net. Neither goalie was or will be their number 1 plus they get the extra third.
