My vibecoding has elevated. A big unlock was @variantui. Especially for iterating on character design + simple animations and quickly reskinning prototypes. Export the code, hand it to the agent, keep iterating. The designs are stunning. Leaving many behind feels slightly tragic. I need an honorarium for unused gems. 🥹

I had a genuinely profound experience watching the launch of Soon yesterday with @eoghan @patrickmcguire and the team. There is something almost sacred about watching an idea travel that distance - from loose scribbles on a whiteboard to a fully realized, beautifully executed vision that still retains its original soul. You could feel the care in every early decision. I had tears in my eyes watching their "Soon" to-be-released documentary. It was an honest portrayal of an iconoclast founder, filled with doubt, stubbornness, and taste - all the things that usually get edited out. Eoghan and Patrick lead with an uncommon mix of heart, taste, quirkiness, and effortless cool. It’s rare. And it shows. The team carries a unique energy - I’ve only had the chance to speak with @dagsen and @zekeindahoose so far, but hear Brian, Aaron, and Hala are awesome (hi guys!) - it’s clear this is a special group. We need more of this. More heart in what we build. More care. More truthful stories about who builders actually are - not the flattened caricatures we’re usually given, but real people trying to make something meaningful and beautiful exist in the world.
