1) So I decided to build a Zcash shielded wallet (Orchard only) on a Flipper Zero. You know, that hacker tamagotchi with a 64 MHz CPU, 256 KB RAM and 4 KB of stack. (STM32 ARM) Well, it took ~2300 lines of C and a mass amount of conversations with Claude. Here's the journey.

🇪🇺 EU prepares to issue standardized guidance for the surveillance of "self-hosted wallets" The EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) is preparing to issue guidance for the technical requirements to surveil transactions between "self-hosted wallets" and accounts held with Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASPs). The guidance will lay out what steps CASPs must take to identify the owner of a self-custodial address as required by the EU's Transfer of Funds regulation, in effect since December 2024. The guidance will be issued by July 2027.

Zashi: - 16% MoM increase in swap volume - 3.5% MoM increase in iOS installs - 13% MoM increase in Android installs Swap volume ~= zodl revenue. $4.6k/mo revenue is still small, but growth rate is good. Zodl revenue probably needs to grow 100x over the next 10 years which would be about 4% MoM.
