Nick Bostrom thinks the human/AI boundary may disappear. Brain uploads, neural upgrades, digital minds — he sees a path where humans don't just use AI. They slowly become something that no longer fits the old category.

David Sinclair says the first person to live to 150 is a teenager who's alive today. He's taken flak from colleagues for years over this prediction. He doesn't care. He still stands by it. "The first person to live to 150 has already been born." Here's why: A 14-year-old today has 80+ years of exponential technological progress ahead of them. Just look at what's happened in the last 10 years: • His lab reversed aging in monkey eyes by 95% • AI now does in 2 months what would have taken thousands of years. • His team has oral molecules that made old mice young again in 4 weeks • The first human age-reversal trial begins in January And that's just the beginning. There'll be more advancements in major medical technologies and therapies soon, including in: • Gene therapy • AI-designed drugs • Whole-body rejuvenation • Epigenetic reprogramming All of it will arrive within a teenager's lifetime. Sinclair believes this is a realistic projection of where the science is heading. Sinclair's advice for everyone is to stay healthy long enough to intercept what's coming. — David Sinclair (@davidasinclair) on Peter Diamandis' (@PeterDiamandis) Moonshots podcast PS. David Sinclair is speaking at SynBioBeta on May 6th this year, discussing the science of slowing and reversing aging. If longevity is the world you're in, the investors, partners, and scientists shaping this space will be in the room. Grab your ticket in the comments below.

The first human age-reversal trial is officially happening. But before the FDA cleared it, Harvard professor David Sinclair had to pull off a mice experiment most scientists thought was impossible: "These mice had their optic nerve regenerated. We were able to show that using [the information theory of aging] method we could cure blindness in animal for the first time." Since then, he also discovered you could treat and reverse diseases like Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, ALS, kidney disease and liver disease in mice too: “It's not just the eye that can get reversed and cured of diseases. It's seemingly every part of the body.” It's what he calls "a universal reset of the body." He confirmed his method also worked in monkeys. Now humans are next. The FDA just cleared the first age-reversal trial. Life Biosciences raised $80 million to make it happen. As he put it: "The eye is just the beginning. We believe we can treat every tissue—a whole body reset."

@RynoLive_ People who don’t play Apex don’t understand the depth of the game. They think it’s just a regular BR, but once you try it and "it clicks", you’ll never leave it, just like Rocket League.

Got kicked 2/4 games in PRO LEAGUE QUALIFIERS, apex servers are the most dogshit unreliable things in the entire gaming industry, how can a triple A game be this horseshit. This is a muilty billion game that's seven years old, who is own'd by a billion dollar company that got bought out by a oil country for 50 billion dollars! In 2026 for PRO LEAGUE QUALIFIERS I get kicked in 2/4 games is fucking mental. I know I am not the only person this happened too today, THIS IS A ONGOING PROBLEM FOR YEARS (In every fucking game mode). @PlayApex fix your game before it dies. Not much more to say gg's and good luck to the other teams who did and did not have this happen to them. Thanks to gr3m and verrahh for playing Idk what I'm going to do going forward. #saveapexlegends

A new theory from physicist Dr. Melvin Vopson at the University of Portsmouth suggests that gravity could provide evidence supporting the idea that our universe operates like a vast computational system—or perhaps even a simulation. In his 2025 paper published in AIP Advances, Vopson proposes that gravitational attraction isn't a fundamental force in the traditional sense (as in Einstein's general relativity, where it arises from spacetime curvature). Instead, gravity emerges as a consequence of the universe's drive to minimize and optimize information entropy. Drawing from information physics, the framework treats reality as fundamentally built on information. Space is pictured as divided into discrete "cells," each encoding data in binary terms: empty cells register as 0, while those containing matter register as 1. Particles and their positions are thus described through informational bits, much like data in a computer. Vopson builds on his earlier second law of infodynamics (an informational counterpart to the second law of thermodynamics). While physical systems tend toward increasing entropy (disorder), information systems—per this law—evolve to reduce or at least not increase informational complexity over time. In practice, this means favoring more efficient, compressed encodings. Applied to gravity: when separate masses (or particles in nearby cells) are spread out, they require more bits to fully describe their individual locations and states. By clustering together into a more compact arrangement, the system reduces the total information needed to specify everything—achieving a kind of cosmic data compression. This informational "pull" toward lower entropy states manifests as the attractive force we observe as gravity. Remarkably, Vopson's calculations show that this entropic information force reproduces Newton's law of universal gravitation exactly. It's not a replacement for general relativity (which remains robustly tested), but rather a deeper, emergent explanation that could bridge gravity with quantum information concepts, black hole information paradoxes, and other areas where information already plays a key role. While the notion of a literal simulation remains highly speculative and unproven, this work adds an intriguing piece to the puzzle: gravity as an optimization routine in a universe that behaves suspiciously like a giant, efficiency-driven computer. It reframes one of physics' core mysteries not as a brute force, but as a byproduct of underlying informational rules. [Vopson, Melvin M. "Is gravity evidence of a computational universe?"
