So, I got to understand clearly the specific defined roles that Commissioners Baloyi and Khumalo play as Co-Commissioners, which explains their line of questioning whenever they probe the witness. It's not just asking for the sake of asking, they are fulfilling a specific mandate. Commissioner Baloyi: Senior counsel assisting the Chairperson with legal analysis and recommendations. Commissioner Khumalo: Assists the Commission with investigative inquiries and oversight of evidentiary processes. So when Commissioner Baloyi says "Hang on, before you proceed, can I get this clear, can you please clarify, when you say..." "Can I put this proposition to you...", she's already analyzing the evidence you are presenting so that she and the other Commissioners can start thinking about the recommendations they are going to make about you and everything related to your evidence. When Commissioner Khumalo says "go to Annexure B, page 185, paragraph 4, he is zooming into the actual evidence that the Investigators have come up with and the Evidence Leaders have packaged, which he oversees. So he's thourough like that so thst he doesn't leave any stone unturned. He closes the gaps, hence I've always called him the Striker at the goal posts after Commissioner Baloyi has passed her the ball. 😄 #MadlangaCommission

@KayaNews Given the scale and consistency of these events, you would expect it to be considered a national emergency by now, but no! They might as well bring in nuclear weapons at this point, who's going to stop them? We'll just hear "They just want to buy food".

The state has told the court that a total of 490 rounds of ammunition were discovered at Fannie Nkosi’s home, raising serious questions about how the stockpile was obtained and stored. Prosecutors further allege Nkosi was issued an R5 rifle with 60 rounds but returned it with 12 additional rounds that remain unaccounted for. The court also heard claims that he was never issued a stun grenade or leg irons, despite these items being found in his possession, deepening concerns over possible unauthorized equipment and ammunition handling.

Suspended Police Sergeant Fannie Nkosi Denies All Charges in Pretoria North Court, Tells Magistrate He Earns R16,500 and Can Only Afford R10,000 Bail as State Opposes Release Suspended police sergeant Fannie Nkosi is appearing in the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court on Monday for his bail application. His legal representative submitted that Nkosi earns R16,500 a month and can afford a proposed bail of R10,000. The defence argued he is not a flight risk and denies all charges. Nkosi confirmed an affidavit under oath in support of his release. Items allegedly seized from his home in Pretoria North include seven licensed firearms, state-owned ammunition, a hand grenade, more than R50,000 in cash, and six case dockets related to serious crimes. The state opposes his release, citing the seriousness of the offences. The hearing was adjourned to 14:00 to allow prosecutors time to respond to the affidavit. Nkosi remains in custody pending the outcome.

@ClaysonMonyela @elonmusk Now imagine allowing someone who doesn't have morals like this one to come and operate such a sensitive business in your country. I am telling you with this starlink SA will be turned into another Venezuela. This man is not to be trusted. He lies too much.

You're lying @elonmusk. These crosses were placed temporarily in 2020 as a symbolic protest following the murder of a farming couple, but they do NOT represent ‘one cross for every murdered white farmer’. They are simply a short-lived memorial to draw attention to criminal attacks that take place in rural areas including on farms affecting everyone (most victims are black). The last official crime stats say 6 murders were recorded in farming communities. 5 of the victims are black (2 farm owners, 2 employees & 1 farm manager). The 1 white victims was a farm dweller. 🇿🇦 law enforcement agencies are treating this category of crime as a priority and as stats are showing, numbers have significantly come down which means we are winning the battle.

Elon Musk
Elon Musk@elonmusk·
South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black! We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle. Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied. Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!
DogeDesigner@cb_doge

Why Elon Musk is RIGHT to fight South Africa’s racist rules blocking Starlink? Imagine this: Long ago, South Africa had very unfair laws called apartheid. They treated Black people badly and kept them from good jobs and money. When those bad laws ended, the country made new rules (called B-BBEE) to help Black people get a fair share of business. The idea was good – like a big helping hand. But now? For companies like Starlink to sell fast internet, they MUST give away 30% of their business to Black partners. Just because of skin color. Elon Musk was born in South Africa. He left as a teen to chase big dreams. Today, his company SpaceX wants to bring Starlink – super fast satellite internet – to South Africa. But the rules say no unless they give up part of the company. Elon said it right: “Starlink is not allowed because I’m not Black.” SpaceX promised to spend about $30 million (that’s 500 million rand!) to give FREE high-speed internet to 5,000 rural schools. That helps over 2.4 MILLION kids every year learn better, get jobs later, and have a brighter future. Real help for the people who need it most! Starlink already works in about 24 other African countries. Villages there now have internet for school, doctors, and business. South Africa’s villages are missing out because of these racist rules. Elon isn’t asking for special favors. He just wants fair play so Starlink can connect everyone fast. Internet = education, jobs, hope. Why hold back millions of kids over rules that pick by race and color?

@ThuliMadonsela3 @elonmusk You are trying to engage Must who is normal& who can comprehend basic things, but the Musk busy peddling these lies is a close friend of Trump who hates blacks to the core. He is serving his 2nd term as @POTUS but not even once he visited any African country. These 2 are racists

Simply not true Mr Musk!!!! It’s improper to use the platform you own for disinformation. A lie no matter how many times it gets repeated remains a lie. Your own LLM understands and recommends restitutive/remedial measures to address structural disadvantages as a result of past legalised discrimination. Under Art 1(4) of ICERD remedial measures do not constitute discrimination. Additionally laws such as BEE equally apply to black companies such as Royal Bafokeng which though owned by a biologically black community found itself not sufficiently black empowered and worse off than majority white owned companies a few years back.
