The decision to sack Xabi Alonso because he tried to effect change in a team that is now out of the Champions League, Copa del Rey and 9 points behind Barcelona in La Liga looks more dreadful every week. He clearly wasn't the problem at Real Madrid.

The German music scene was strongest in the 80s for me. Sandra and her husband Michael Cretu led the way. Whilst in sport @TheBorisBecker was leading the way & football - Klinsmann, Matthäus & co were incredible.
