While heading to my college exam today, I found used syringes and vials lying outside Welcome Metro Station gate no. 2. The situation was even worse yesterday. This raises concerns about possible drug activity and poses a safety risk to commuters. @DelhiPolice @OfficialDMRC

Any inconvenience is regretted. Location for provision of lifts & escalators was planned at the design & planning stage. Further, we make all efforts to maintain the service reliability of the equipment, and any intermittent technical issue is attended by staff on priority. There was some technical issue in the mentioned escalator on tweet date/time. The same was soon rectified. The escalator is working normal at present. In case of inconvenience passengers may contact the Station Control Room number displayed on the escalator or call our 24 x7 helpline no 155370 for assistance.

Any inconvenience caused is regretted. Virtual Smart Card will only be utilized at Delhi Metro Network (It cannot be Utilized in Airport Express Line). Further, various modes of ticketing modes like National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) & Smart Cards, App based QR (Paytm, Phonepe, Whatsapp etc.), paper QR are available for convenience of passengers. While booking QR tickets Passengers may choose route via Airport express line, in which two separate QRs will be generated through single transaction.
