Assets deployed by CENTCOM are online and a quick look at them just tell you it’s not a forever war since the prerequisites for that to be one is an invasion which I don’t think is happening beyond the possibility of seizing Kharg Island.
Winning in this case means simply weakening Iran enough that Israel and Gulf countries can handle it. That’s it.

This might be a long war. If it is a long war the United States should try to win it. The prerequisite for winning it is similar to what would be needed to win a war against China: Complete military reform, drone manufacturing capacity, energy resilience. Let's go.
