@seamus_coughlin That mockery made them feel bad. Charlie being murdered made them feel good. It's obvious that making them feel bad is worse.

@KirkWilcox @ColemanMulkerin Is it too much to ask that when I die it be because a bureaucrat didn't want to spend the money and not because corporate greed didn't want to spend the money?

@ColemanMulkerin Single payer healthcare system denies care to patient: Responsible, you gotta ration to make sure everyone gets some level of care they need Health insurance company denies coverage to a patient: Evil, they did it for the sake of making their shareholders richer. Greed is bad

People don't think that America's Health Insurance industry is bad as in a bad customer experience but many do buy the moral commendation of Health Insurers. So when people hear threats that come from Hasan they are likely to think "Well, who am I to judge other's feelings"
Dominic Pino@DominicJPino

And also the way they pretend that everybody agrees with them that American health insurance is the most evil thing in world history. In reality, most Americans like their health insurance.

@Sabamika1 @GundamIsHere Avellone never brought that up in the interview. He was referring to the review scores for the DLC as a justification to not work with them again.

@di_null @GundamIsHere Avellone didn't specify what was in the powerpoint, but I got the impression while listening to the interview that it was technical. It was probably more about how they used the engine incorrectly.

@GundamIsHere I would love to watch this PowerPoint. Would be cool to see it in the form “what was done” - “what should be done instead” with some references to other Fallouts.

@CygnusSlaughter @GundamIsHere That's not what Chris Avellone was talking about in the interview. He said they used the review scores of the DLC to justify not working with them again. He then added "not that they wanted too" which is where he brings up the powerpoint. He doesn't mention the bonus at all.

No, Bethesda weren't obligated to pay Obsidian their performance bonuses. To get their bonuses, the game had to get a metacritic score of at least 85, and they got an 84. Bethesda weren't obligated to pay them, per the agreement, but they were 1 point off, the game was a massive commercial success, one of their best performing games ever at the time. They could have just paid the hard working developers who made a really good game that made Bethesda hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, but chose not to because they didn't have to. It was allegedly something like $1 million for a team of 70 people, $ 14k each, for a game that sold 5 million copies in days. bad look.

A Massachusetts Police Department has charged 17 people from across New England following a comprehensive investigation into a coordinated street takeover that endangered motorists and responding officers in October 2025. The incident occurred early Sunday, October 5th, 2025, when large crowds gathered at the intersection of North Main and Oak streets in Randolph. Vehicles performed drifting maneuvers and donuts in the roadway while participants blocked intersections to allow the stunts. Spectators surrounded the area, many recording videos for social media. When the first officer arrived, his cruiser was quickly surrounded by the crowd, preventing him from entering the intersection. Individuals swarmed the vehicle, striking it and blocking its path. Fireworks were ignited both on top of the cruiser and nearby in the street. Officers estimated nearly 100 people were in the roadway at the intersection.

The number one defense of Cenk's Nephew is "out of context" & yet it is never followed by any additional context being provided. Kyle did a whole stream sucking him off not long ago, & he just agreed with every statement & added no exonerating context

@mattyglesias Matt, you've seen 7 Hasan clips - for a total of about 2 minutes - out of context, please shut the fuck up.

@3limbjim @quincylsb @trad_west_ @reddit_lies There was a church on every corner; they could have taught the children to read, but they didn't think people should be allowed to read and to know that all you have to do is look at the reformation lead-up and how many died for it.

Im not an atheist, but this is probably the best example of revisionist history I've ever seen. The church ACTIVELY suppressed literacy and knowledge. I live for the day when people can just tell the truth instead of attempting to lie and manipulating reality to support their narratives and ideology.

@HadleySheley @MorePerfectUS The government already spends $100 billion a year on SNAP benefits. It's okay to tell the truth and admit the point of taxing the rich is to take their money away because you don't like that they are rich. This has nothing to do with wanting to help people.
