Most idiotic replies thus far: 1. "Our country was founded on give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free!" No, that's a poem on a statue, not immigration law. 2. "What about Marco Rubio?!" His parents were lawful permanent residents at the time of his birth. Trump's EO doesn't negate birthright citizenship for this scenario. 3. "Ivanka Trump was illegal so all of Trump's kids aren't citizens!" Ivanka was married to Donald Trump, a U.S. Citizen, making his kids American citizens by birth. Also covered by the EO.
Adam Johnston@adamkjohnston

The existence of Delia Ramirez in Congress is why Birthright Citizenship must be ended. Delia Ramirez was born on American soil after her mother illegally crossed the U.S. border. She’s also married to a DACA recipient. Now she wants to end ICE and immigration enforcement.

@scottconso @farzyness Virtual training can evolve, but physical chips are foundational goods they know they'll need and a bottleneck competitors can easily clog. There is no need to prove it if you already know it can be done.

@PaulCollider @farzyness Probably, but prove it first, then expand. It won’t be as easy as they thought. And Dojo didn’t work out. Elon’s talk about it being 10x the size of GigaTexas is pre-SpaceX-IPO pump. Crawl before you walk before you run

Musk is throwing $25 billion at a single chip factory. TeraFab. Biggest industrial bet anyone's ever made, and the numbers don't work according to pretty much every analyst who's looked at them. Meanwhile one company in a small Dutch town — ASML — still makes the only lithography machines that actually matter. But Musk isn't trying to beat TSMC at their own game. The play is collapsing the whole design-to-packaging loop so Tesla can iterate on silicon 5 to 10 times faster than everyone else. That gap gets wider every cycle. Everyone else is still buying general-purpose chips off the shelf. *** thanks to @DavidCarbutt_ and team for the edit.

@farzyness They have never fabricated a single chip. They should start with a more normal-sized building first and prove they can do it successfully. Then and only then expand it to be bigger

@wholemars What they really want is to diminish individual control of large companies. Framing it as "Money" is just how they radicalize their drones.

The top 10 most wealthy people in the country have a combined net worth of about $2.4 trillion. So if we confiscated 100% of their wealth and sold their holdings, assuming it didn’t affect the market price we could cover the deficit for one year. Year after that, we’re back to square one. In reality forcing those people to sell off their stakes in their companies would tank the share price causing the proceeds to be considerably less than what it appears to be on paper.

The US is running a $2 TRILLION deficit. Revenue IS NOT THE PROBLEM.

@Ryie422 @wholemars Nobody is hoarding money. Stocks are virtual goods you buy from people. It's like saying Elon is hoarding NFT's. Just in his case his NFT's are actually worth something to others that would be willing to buy them if he sold them. It's about diminishing founders control.

@wholemars Money was designed as a mechanism to exchange goods and services. It was not meant to be hoarded. With money hoarding comes great imbalance and swings and pulls money out of the system. It’s also a contributor to inflation

Andrew Garfield shades J.K. Rowling while praising the artists that worked on the ‘Harry Potter’ films: “[Daniel Radcliffe] is really good in the ‘Harry Potter’ films, the films are really good. I know it’s controversial and we shouldn’t be putting money in the pocket of inhumane legislations right now, through… she who shall remain nameless, […] but there are so many beautiful artists that worked on those films.” (youtu.be/YtDD9nUvicA?si…)

@PeterBernegger @UndeadFoia 2016 was actually one of the lowest spends for Russian interference, decreasing from a high in 2012. China spent more than Russia in 2016.

We have evidence there was Russian interference, from the court documents of the two Jill Stein lawsuits she filed in Wisconsin. Over 1,000 documents. Lawsuits paid for by Hillary Clinton. Documents signed by the corrupt Wis. State Attorney General Josh Kaul, back when he was a litigator at Perkins Coie law firm. The depth of Russian interference is debatable, and appears small, but they were certainly probing. It is without question the other key players such as first, the US federal govt., then corrupt players including Great Britain, Cuba, China, Venezuela, Serbia, Romania, Canada, Iran, Israel. I name these based on documents, interviews, eye witnesses, computer logs obtained and sworn testimonies. In the end, it is a complete mess and computers must be banned from our elections. @Undeadfoia @TheAndersPaul @SidneyPowell1 @DanEastman2023 @TheGoodFight

Let me explain exactly why every new subdivision in America looks like the top photo, because the math is wild. A mature tree increases a home's value by 7 to 19 percent. On a $400,000 house, that's $28,000 to $76,000. A single shade tree produces the cooling equivalent of ten room-size air conditioners running 20 hours a day. One tree on the west side of a house cuts energy bills by 12 percent within 15 years. The bottom photo is worth more, costs less to live in, and sells faster. This has been documented by the University of Washington, Clemson, Michigan State, and the USDA. The data is not in dispute. Removing those trees saves the builder roughly $5,000 per lot. Concrete trucks need twice the dripline radius of every standing tree. Utility trenches need flat ground. A bulldozer flattens 200 lots in an afternoon. Preserving trees adds weeks and thousands per home. So the developer pockets $5,000 in savings and the buyer eats $50,000 in lost value for the next two decades. The person making the decision and the person paying for it have never been in the same room. The Woodlands, Texas is the proof of what happens when they are. George Mitchell bought 28,000 acres of Houston timberland in 1974 and preserved 28% as permanent green space. He forced McDonald's to build behind the tree canopy. That McDonald's became one of the highest-volume locations in Texas. The first office building, designed to reflect the surrounding forest so you couldn't see it from the street, leased completely. The Woodlands median home price today: $615,000. Katy, a comparable Houston suburb that clear-cut: $375,000. Named #1 community to live in America two years running. Fifty years of data. The trees are worth more than removing them saves. Developers clear-cut anyway because they sell the house once and leave. You live in it for 30 years.

This exchange just happened in Congress. Senator Cohen to FBI Director Kash Patel: “The people you fired were experts on Iran, were they not?” Patel: “I don’t believe so.” Cohen: “They worked in counterintelligence, did they not?” Patel: “I’m taking you at your word.” Cohen: “You’re the director. I’m not. You should know the answer.” The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation does not know who he fired. Does not know if they were Iran experts. Does not know if they worked in counterintelligence. Is taking a senator’s word for it. This is the man running America’s domestic intelligence agency during the most severe national security crisis since 9/11. Iran has activated sleeper cells. Encrypted communications intercepted as operational triggers. A war with no exit strategy. Joe Kent resigned because the investigation was stopped. Charlie Kirk’s last words to Kent: stop us from getting into a war with Iran. And the FBI Director doesn’t know who he fired. Or what they knew. Or what America lost when they left. Never stop connecting the dots.

One photo is real the other is AI. What the OP doesn't tell you that in parts of Houston there are no natural trees on most of these lots to begin with. The photo with all those trees are lots where every house got a tree in their yard and one on the piece of land between the sidewalk and the street.
