This was at Goldman Sachs Recruitment Day in 2019, at Victoria Island, Lagos (similar to Shell's Recruitment Day).
I didn't make the cut then because there were badder guys from UNILAG, OAU and co, who were and are witches and wizards in coding.
Anyway, my team came second overall and I used sweet mouth to present our technical solution.
This was Goldman Sachs o, able to assemble at least 200 bad guys within Lagos (the picture doesn't show the full hall, which is quite sizeable).
But one bros who knows the local ecosystem more than oyinbo said we don't have world-class talent.
Anyway, most people in this picture had sponsored flight and relocation benefits to the UK and other countries shortly after this picture was taken.
However, you still have people like this within Nigeria's shores.

Career Women May Have To Make Sacrifices For Relationships With Wealthy Men — Rapper Rick Ross
American rapper Rick Ross has sparked widespread conversation following remarks attributed to him about relationships between wealthy men and career-driven women.
He suggested that when a woman is involved with a rich man, her priorities may shift and she may be expected to be more available to her partner, even during demanding professional moments. In his words:
“As a wealthy man, we have to meet somewhere on even ground. Yes you got your career as a woman and that’s cool but I most likely be needing you in your inconvenient times in your life”
He further added: “So when you tell me you are a nurse, surgeon and say oh I have a surgery tomorrow, f¥ck thst surgery the n+gga can wait cause I need you that moment”
Ross also implied that career ambition may take a backseat in relationships with affluent partners, saying:
“Of course lady get your career, education, just to show you are capable but when you get a rich ni+ga, you are going to quit. Depend on me, you can’t say you can’t cook just use chat gpt cause I know you was born for this”

Lol, it’s not even decent. It’s high. The entry-level salary (junior associate/intern) for any technical role at Moniepoint is 1M+ per month.
The current issue is that the TL is now filled with fake screenshots and personal views painted as objective discussions.
Not the little B 💕✨@BlehisBack
Say what you want but moniepoint’s pay is decent. It is.

There’s a growing trend of people who frequently change jobs looking down on those who stay at one company for a long time.
Staying long at a job doesn’t mean you’re stuck. It could mean the role genuinely meets your needs; good pay, work-life balance, growth, or simply a place where you feel valued.
Changing jobs frequently isn’t always a sign of being in high demand either. Sometimes people switch because their current employer isn’t paying fairly, growth has stalled, or job-hopping is simply the most practical way to significantly increase earnings, which is a legitimate financial strategy.
Career paths are deeply personal. Neither staying nor leaving is inherently superior. What matters is whether the choice is serving you, your goals, your finances, your wellbeing.
Judging someone’s career decisions without knowing their full context says more about the judge than the judged.

@yabaleftonline That thought came to his mind because he has low self-esteem.
Being a pastor/pastors wife is not a joke. I don't envy any pastor's wife.

@callmetobiloba The problem is the accountant that accepts that nonsense pay. Like what an insult

@jbmillenial Reminds me of when my friend went for an interview it was rigorous he spent all day there. Only to hear 150k gross. The owner of the clinic has lived abroad and has experienced good pay. We are wicked to one another here.

Someone trained you, took a chance on you when you were raw, and gave you room to grow into the professional you are today.
Now you’re in a position to do the same, yet you only want “ready-made” talent with experience, ignoring people who just need an opportunity. We keep hearing “there’s no talent at scale,” but what are you as a Nigerian company doing to bridge that gap?
internships, job shadowing, mentorship?

@instablog9ja Is it bad to eat a well done steak ? I saw one lady make a funny skit about it 😂
