The FIA has now announced that definitive agreement has been reached on Formula 1 engine regulations for 2027. Internal Combustion Engine (ICE): currently 400kW, in 2027 420 kW and in 2028 450 kW Electric motor will be reduced from 350 kW to 300 kW starting in 2027.

Ferrari dropping that new front wing for Barcelona has perfect timing. After some balance issues in recent races, this upgrade targets better airflow and front-end grip while keeping straight-line speed strong — exactly the kind of detail Lewis has been asking for. Barcelona upgrades from Ferrari have delivered good results before, especially in high-speed corners where rotation and tyre warm-up matter a lot. With Lewis having multiple wins at this track, the new wing could help them challenge Mercedes properly this weekend. Kimi and Mercedes are flying high right now, but if Ferrari nails the setup and strategy, we could see some real battles for the top spots.
