@lovinglyprolife @azazieofficial @SouthwestAir This is so dumb. For my wedding I chose a bridesmaid dress under $100, told them I didnโt care what shoes they wore, gifted the earrings, and paid for their nails/hair/makeup. I think they contributed maybe $40 each for the bachelorette party.
English

So far I have found out I have these expenses to look forward to in the next 3 months:
@azazieofficial dress: $120
Dress alterations: ??
@SouthwestAir ticket to Bachelorette: $400
Bachelorette activities: $150-200
Does anyone have a few hundred bucks they want to Venmo me????

being a bridesmaid is all fun and games until youโre asked to commit 3 weekends in half a year planning and hosting events and buy your own bridesmaid dress and pay for your own hair and make-up

@EarlsWorldGA I think the word โtriggeringโ is often overused and exaggerated. If you have lost a child, yes, I think seeing depictions of child loss could be triggering and I think it would be perfectly acceptable to avoid seeing it if you donโt want to.
English

@ProLifeLiz You had me, Mama A, until you used the word โtriggering.โ Avoidance of difficult topics in general isnโt a healthy life strategy.

@ProLifeLiz What show is this? These are rare.

@ProLifeLiz I suppose you could have a little game for kids where you try to knock down a stack of water bottles like they have at carnivals? ๐ค
English

@mandalynns23 I know Iโm not the person you want to be happy for you, but I am ecstatic for you! Itโs hard work to be healthy, especially with kids. Congrats mama ๐

@MomKrill Good to know! Hopefully our son will keep being easy too ๐คฃ

@ProLifeLiz For what it's worth, my late walker is my easy child. ๐
My early walker is the daredevil constantly on the verge of getting herself killed. ๐
English

@NotMaryAnnObv Thank you, I appreciate this. I just have to work on not caring what people think when they ask ๐
English

@ProLifeLiz I resent a bit that parents are made to worry this way. I hope youโre not letting it get to you- all babies work through things in their own time ๐ค my two had various things that took them ages to accomplish and I remember the phase where people askโฆit all works out!
English

@MomKrill Yes. Our pediatrician is great and I trust her, and sheโs not worried so I know I shouldnโt be. Itโs just hard to not care about other peopleโs perceptions sometimes. Something I will have to work on until the end of time probably ๐
English

@ProLifeLiz I had one child who walked by 8mo and one who refused until 20mo.
I can tell you that a LOT of it is based on personality, and is not necessarily an indication of your child not being able to excel. There are times to get involved, but most of the time things are fine.
