@QuesoCreative Just a simple 25-30% deposit. Also with the process, in the contract state how many times a client can come back with changes. Stops them from taking advantage as your time is money. I am more than happy to provide you with a template. DM me if you would like more details. 😁

@zaheer_anwar What percentage deposit? I feel like I've been lucky for so long & now have to get my head around pre-nupping every startup I help! Always preferred a relaxed approach but maybe it's time to put my big girl pants on.

@QuesoCreative Contract with all the terms with a non-refundable deposit. The terms should cover all aspects

@domsotgiu Wouldn't you be put off as a relatively low budget micro business? Virtually all my clients are startups. Have always enjoyed the trust & connection we've had. Now feel like I've just been lucky... until now.

@devoteassociate I'd expect that from an agency, but none of my freelance colleagues have ever felt the need? We just never had any issues. Thanks for your tip. Lesson learnt 😞

@QuesoCreative Any new client is always 50% upfront deposit. We also request an email showing formal engagement for job to proceed as supporting evidence
