Yeah so if you read the last point on my post I get into how I think that’s wrong to attribute things outside of the Quran to the word of God. I believe it’s a perversion and compeltly agree with you it makes no sense. It’s hearsay from hadith. I do not think it’s “Islamic” at all. I think it’s humans meddling. Luckily the Quran itself is preserved and people who really care about the true word of God can go to it.
