I'm sad we'll never get the full soundtracks from these initial Echoes trailers, there was some admirable experimentation going on here (in the context of Destiny)
God I just feel like I'm the only Echoes fan in existence. The ingame dialogue was dodgy but the rest was peak

So Chicago maintains data on every rideshare trip in the city, including pickup/dropoff locations. I tried mapping trips from a given location, but there's gotta be something more useful to do. Has anyone done a cool analysis or built anything with Chicago's TNP data?

speaking of, is there anything wrong with Modrinth? there must be something!
i had a 10+ year break from minecraft and had to relearn how to manage a modded client last year, which is when i found Modrinth. it's so good????? clean, pretty, fast, stable, no bullshit!
very open, has APIs for pretty much anything (you can fetch their daily ad revenue with it!) . works on windows, linux, macOS. comes in nixpkgs.
i submitted some mods and they scanned them automatically + reviewed manually before publishing (hey vscode marketplace whats up??)
why? what's the catch? a commercial software product like this is not possible in 2026. is there some secret sauce that makes your product immune to bullshit? trans women on the team?

@DestinyNostalgi From what I read and heard from secondary sources around when this leak happened, it was "there are zero lines of code and the story is 5 paragraphs" early. My guess is they wrap up fate saga and go into age of triumph for a year minimum before we hear anything about d3.

Yes, Destiny 3 is in extremely early development. Some of you may have seen a tweet early this afternoon that mentioned that. We have been sitting on the info for a few weeks now and wanted to wait to talk about this seeing as it is in such an early state, and it just sucks to see others post about it carelessly for free internet points. We plan to share more info in the coming months as we wait on the larger scale things to develop and take shape. Sit tight.
